Mario Cart is the title of World Switch 2 launches that most people will recognize, but it was not always intended to be one.
In fact, sports developers have revealed that they actually want to release the open World Racer on the original switch console. But the old hardware couldn’t handle it.
Addressing an interview on Nintendo’s website, Mario Cart World Producer Kosoki Yaboki confirmed that the game was really developing since 2017. But programming director Canta Sato said that apparently developing for switch 1 means “it was difficult for them to be included.”

Clearly, the developers were always aware that they would have to give up the game on the switch. They discussed things like reducing resolution, dropping visuals, and even reducing the frame rate to 30fps.
But in the end, the team realized that they could not let any of them go. 60 FPS was something that the team felt was especially important for Mario Cart Games.

Finally, the team decided to make only more DLC for Mario Cart 8, with time bound and data for Mario Cart World data. The subject of switching to switch 2 only after the Booster Course was released.
According to Yaboki, he “suddenly opened a group of possibilities (what) what they can do.” “It was really a ray of hope.”
If this means that we get an unconstitutional version of the Mario Cart World, this is definitely a good thing. Considering a widespread new environment and 24 player races, it is not surprising that it is better on switch from the original console. It is enough to surprise me as to what other games have passed in a similar situation.
Considering how long the Matrod Prime 4 was announced, and how good the game looks, I would not be surprised if there is such a conversation behind the screen. But we definitely never know.
