Gemini is no longer just a chat boot. In Google I/O 2025, a wide range of new features and upgrades was introduced, which describes how deep in Google Economic systems and consumer daily life. Here is everything that was announced:
Gemini live is now free on mobile
The biggest update is Gemini Live, which is now available for free on both Android and iOS. This allows users to use their phone’s camera or screen sharing to get real -time support. Instead of explaining a problem, you can show it. Google says people spend five times more using Gemini live than text chat, and deep integration with other apps is coming soon. Features such as incorporating events, checking places in maps, or saving note in the cap will be built in the same way.

Emajin 4 and View 3 live your thoughts
There are new tools to work with creative users. Imagin 4 is the latest Google image generation model, offering sharp visual and improved text rendering. It is ideal for designing presentations, invitations, or social posts, and is now available in the Gemini app. On the other hand, VO3 can produce complete videos with background sounds, sound effects and even character dialogue. This feature is limited to consumers in the United States with Google AI ultra subscription.

Deep research and upgrade of canvas
Gemini research tools are improving. Users can now upload PDF and photos in deep research by connecting personal files with deep analysis. Soon, the integration with Google Drive and Gmail will allow even more contexts. Canvas, the Gemini app’s creative space, now just describes them and supports coding websites and apps. It also supports quiz, infographics, and audio content in more than 45 languages.

Gemini in chrome and smart study
Jemney has been coming to Chrome this week, available for Pro and Ultra users in the United States that uses English on Windows or Macos. This will help describe or summarize the content directly on the page. On the side of education, Gemini now offers interactive quiz that adapt to your needs, which offer follow -up questions based on your weak areas. College students in selected countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, can have free access to Gemini Pro during the academic year.
New Subscribation Plans: Pro and Ultra
Google is launching two salaried projects: Google AI Pro every month. 19.99 and Google AI Ultra at 9 249.99 every month. The pro contains modern tools such as flow and notebooks with high use limits. Ultra users have early access to highly powerful models and experimental features such as agent mode, which can perform complex tasks using Google Services with minimal input.
