None of the airline’s passengers have been jailed when failing to twist your phone on aircraft mode
Although no one has been jailed for failing to comply with the rules related to the use of aircraft mode in airline flights, some have been fined some passengers, and at least one was kicked by the plane to discuss with the flight attendant in 2018 whether his phone was in plane mode.
