2025 Super Skin is becoming the year of phone. Not only is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge being sold at the end of the month, we are expecting the iPhone 17 wind to be revealed later this year.
The hook that these phones have is that they are thin and lightweight, emphasizing a close unique style that we have not seen on the smartphone for some time. The problem is that making a phone more thinner means trade, and calculating for them can make the best effort useless.
Large batteries need space

According to a recent report, the iPhone 17 is unlikely to continue for the entire day on the same charge-only 60-70 % of users have predicted to do so. This is compared to 80 and 90 % for the rest of the iPhone 17.

We do not know how big the battery is getting, and Apple is never likely to tell us, but things are seemingly bad that it is about to resurrect a long-dead iPhone accessories-battery.
After the launch of the iPhone 12, the battery case was closed, when meg saf means that users can rely on the magnetic battery pack for the same task. This suggests two things about the iPhone 17 air.
First, the battery is so weak compared to the other iPhone 17 that it requires a special accessory to help it continue. Second, we may not see the meg safe on the super thin iPhone-but wireless charging is likely.
After running the Tom Guide battery test on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the phone’s 3,900 mAh battery lasted only 12 hours and 38 minutes. From comparisons,
Although it is not small, it is still smaller than the rest of the Galaxy S25, which has 4,400 mAh battery, lasted for 15 hours and 43 minutes, while the S25 ultra -5,000 mAh battery lasted for 17 hours and 14 minutes.
The problem is that the phone batteries take a lot of space, and the more battery space is needed to hold it. There have been a lot of work to compress batteries and improve energy efficiency, which is why we have seen battery life climbing permanently without heavy jumps in capacity.
By making the phone thin, you are limiting the amount of space for the larger battery. Which, regardless of how much power you can score, will never produce a record -breaking number. Not good anyway.
And if you have to slap the battery on the back to keep your phone alive for the whole day, you have really defeated the purpose of having a thin phone.
How durable is a thin phone?

Remember in 2014 when Apple released the iPhone 6? This, and still, is made at 6.9 mm thick so far. Unfortunately, the thickness was a problem, as the phone becomes sensitive to bending – a problem known as the “Band Gate”.
The iPhone 17 is going to be 5.5 mm, about one mm and one and a half thin.
I am sure that Apple has learned a lot about stability in the last 11 years, and may be working hard to make sure that Bandgate 2: Capetino Bogalo iPhone 17 does not happen after the release of Air. We noted that the 5.8 mm S25 Edge felt amazingly durable in our Galaxy S25 Edge Hand on, so this is a lesson that others have taken.
But it doesn’t matter how many really sustainable super thin phones are, many people still have prejudice. To further worsen matters, even if the thin phones can be similar to the stability of their coarse counterparts, which is still not particularly durable.
This means that these phones are probably wrapped in any kind. Then these cases will increase the extra thickness and weight in the phone, depending on the kind of cases that people choose, and reach the point where you have not even bought the thin model at all.
And for those who prefer barefoot, are you ready to gamble the higher price tags on the phone as it is as durable as their counterparts? Because I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple had many claims of Apple’s care in the months after the air release.
Down line

I feel like I am getting a lot of mixed messages with these thin phones that are on the way. The idea behind them is to emphasize the design and style, which shows how the phones can look at some changes. And yet the compromise agreements face their own problems.
I can’t escape the possibility of stability. It is not as if smartphones are absolutely invasive, and possibly making them more fragile seems to be a problem for me. And of course, a matter can solve the problem, but it defeats this point. Moreover, if you have to keep weak batteries, and the battery pack is needed to be slapped on the back of your phone.
And the more I think about it, the less these phones begin to appeal.
