Vivo X200 is following in the footsteps of ultra -Vivo’s earlier Ultra phones and last year’s best camera focused flagship. They have some big shoes to fill.

We like Vivo’s point of view – instead of going to the safe (and boring) dispersion point, Vivo shakes things in a big way with the X200 Ultra. The impressive telephoto camera was the X100 Ultra star, so Vivo gave him a bright lens. The selfie shooter is apparently the same.

The other two rear cameras bring massive changes and a new vision. A 1 -inch 23 mm main camera has gone, which many people can see as a down grade, but not so fast!

We are present to tell you that the new 35 mm main shooter, which still has an impressive 1/1.28 -inch sensor, is no more bad. And with the same 1/1.28 -inch sensor, the new 14 mm ultraviolet can be a highlight of this phone.

Let’s place the sensor size one for a second and talk lens. Both 24 mm (23 mm in this case) and 35 mm focal length is a strong follow -up community. 35 mm is a classic reporter styling lens-extensive angle, yet low-ranking, which is capable of capturing many scenes, but its images have a deep, clear look. 24 mm is a more tough wide angle lens, lending itself to capture more and more scenario, brings a dramatic feeling to an image, is heavy on distortion, especially if you bring your article near the lens.

We will see that some photographers will see the removal of a 23 mm camera as a Dell Breaker, while others can understand only one reason to buy 35 mm only X200 ultra.

But this is the place where the upgraded 14 mm ultra -wide comes. Thanks to its main camera size sensor, this camera produces important images of quality quality. This is much better than the old ultra -wide, and the difference is also seen in good light.

So Vivo X200 Ultra is now a unique photography suggestion. It brings 14 mm, 35 mm, and 85 mm lens, which has flagship image quality – each of them will capture good images than your iPhone, Galaxy Ultra, or Pixel’s main camera.

Now let’s see how the new Vivo flagship compares to its memorable predecessor.

The first set of our photos is the main camera-the left side 1 inch 23 mm F/1.8, 1/1.28 inch 35 mm F/1.7 on the right. The first thing you will see is the difference in the length of the focal. The number looks close, but they are not – more than 23 mm is more than 35 mm. We expect that even experienced shooters will need a few days to adjust their eyes to a new routine.

When you look at the thumbnases, the lower distortion is clear. The 35 mm is considered to be a wide -angle lens in the photo world, but this is the opposite in the smartphone world, which has been adjusted for years in the length of the wider focal on the main cameras.

With pictures of 35 mm, the articles are closer and large. This means that the new main camera is even better for people’s shots. Of course, some people may lose the distorted shape of the old main camera.

The thing that impressed us the most was the image quality from the new 35 mm main camera. It is better at a pixel level than 1 inch 23 mm camera.

The colors of both important cameras are also significantly different. The X100 Ultra has many saturated colors in terms of default (though you can tune it in phone settings).

Main Camera: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

Going to Ultra Wide, where we see a big difference in quality. The field of vision is the same – 14 mm, 116˚ – but sensors and lenses are different. The old ultra -wide has a 1/2.0 -inch sensor and a F/2.2 lens. The new camera is very large with a slightly bright F/2.0 lens.

The new ultra -wide is good and its limit is better. The description is very high, and it is presented in a more natural way. The new camera can detect the smallest structure, while the old camera is struggling to present it all, and leaves a smelly dirt in places where the new camera offers fine grass.

The new camera is also a better and colorful presentation and the dynamic range is an edge.

Ultra Wide: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

Out of the color offer, there is no big difference in the 85 mm images in good light, which is set across the system instead of the camera sequence.

Zoom: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

In the next few pictures, we zoomed a new 14 mm camera of Vivo X200 Ultra to find out if you could not avoid being 23 mm. The results are not high in good light, especially if you do not peek and use them for social media. But 14 mm on the X200 ultra, which is better, cannot be similar to the main camera of 1 inch 23 mm on the X100 ultra.

23 mm vs 14 mm zomed: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

We also tested the other scenario – using 23 mm camera of Vivo X100 Ultra, up to 35 mm, to meet the Vivo X200 Ultra main camera. This is a close match, but the 1 -inch camera is not as good at 35 mm as is 35 mm.

23 mm zoom in 35 mm: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

Important cameras are excellent at night. Except for the color difference, we see such a large exhibition, well -made shadows, balanced highlights, no disturbing noise, and the same, reliable detail. Top number!

23 mm vs 35 mm at night: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

We expect the zoom cameras to see a big difference in low light performance – while the X200 ultra zoom is the same sensor in the X100 ultra, it brings a bright F/2.27 lens (vs. F/2.67). But even in the dark, there is not much to separate the two. Yes, the new camera was able to keep the ISO a little less, but we can’t see any clear digital noise on any of the zoom samples.

The new camera is a bit heavy on sharpening, and it has done a bit deep on its shadow.

Night Time Zoom: Vivo X100 Ultra • Vivo X200 Ultra

Overall, we say that Vivo has made a strong follow -up of one of the best camera phones last year. The new 35 mm is polarizing for its focal length but is excellent in terms of quality.

The zoom of 85 mm changes as much as it was a year ago, with just a little better lenses!

We said that ultra -wide Vivo X200 can be a special thing, and we mean! This is the best ultra -wild angle camera on a phone without question. It portrays the pictures beautifully like a main camera, which is not the same on any other phone there.

Our next stop is to thoroughly test the new camera in low light. Stay in touch for her!
