Snap Snap Chat is withdrawing from plans to facilitate design as it reported that one million users are losing in North America. As a part of it Q1 2025 Tuesday Tuesday Report ReportSnap revealed that instead it is going to start testing a “better” sequence that maintains the app’s five existing tabs.
Snap is now changing these projects after months of testing, after seemingly less use or consumer frustration. Snap writes in a letter to investors, “Our busiest Snap Chatters showed permanent priority for five tab layouts, in favor of discovering tile -based content and a dedicated tab of map.” In 2018, Snap’s stock sank and Users Fleed after a renewed design to keep the content separate from friends and brands.
The company says the new -shaped five -tab setting “combines both approaches,” as it will make more stories in the messaging experience and make it easier to find a spotlight, which will directly appear on the right side of the camera button.
Snap does not say the extent to which the design was widely removed or tested. But the company has reported losing consumers in North America in recent quarters, which has decreased by 99 million active users daily, less than 100 million users in Q4 2024. The use of snapchat in North America has been flat for nearly three years.
Despite the decline in North American consumers, SNAP reported a 14 percent increase in revenue to $ 1.36 billion, which is due to the growth of ad and increased its snap chat plus subscription. Its global daily dynamic users continue to grow, increasing from 453 million to 460 million in the last quarter.
