Apple was released iOS 18.4 In March, and this update brought something New emoji To all iPhones. But when Apple released iOS 18.2 In December, it introduces a new feature to your mail app that sets your upcoming emails in different categories for you, called categories.
“The mail app automatically sets your email messages in the category to help you find messages quickly and manage them.” Apple wrote online. But if you don’t like how the category works in the mail, there is no problem, you can turn your app to look like your app before the update.

What are the mile categories?
The categories in the mail are like the categories you will find in Gmail. The app filters your emails in one of the four types: primary, transactions, updates and promotions.
Receipts fill the category of emails, orders and delivery information transactions, and news, social and other subscription emails go on updates. Special offerings and deals emails go into promotions, as you can imagine.
It is a bit more difficult to download the primary category. Apple writes in the app that the primary is “for messages that are the most important.” I have used a re -designed app since I was launched in the beta, and at that time my main category was full of my wife, customer service and even withdrawal information emails. This catch is a bit of a category.
Can I change the e -mail category?

1. Tap the mail.
2. Tap the transactions, updates or promotion tabs in the upper part of the mail, but not the primary, and tap a message.

Once, I ordered tickets for a show at a local theater, and the email was filtered in promotions. I moved the email to the primary with these tickets, but now all the theater emails – including deals and sales – go to my category. It is annoying to not be able to change this rating back.
It is important to note that you can improve email from promotions for deals and then return to promotions without any problem. Only emails that cannot be corrected are those in primary.
How do I close the category in the mail?
