I have been wearing some of the best Garman watches for more than half a decade, and when they offer plenty of daily use, I especially appreciate how they support training for a race. If I had not started to wear the Garman five years ago, I would probably not have returned to run as an adult and would have entered my first race over the years.
Years ago, a friend gave me his forefront to help create a 10K training. At first, I was scared because I am not the most tech lover to meet you, and you need a lot of trials and mistakes to find out how to use it. From there, I graduated in the Garman Phoenix 7s, which is still on my wrist today. I do not use all its characteristics and functions, as there are many, but what I depend on, has helped me through 5kg to marathon, and taught me how to train better.
If you are new to the Garman, new to run, or signed up for a race, or just want to conquer a running goal, this article shares the features that have empowered me and promoted my performance. Hopefully, these viable points can help you get the most out of your watch.
Set reminders so that you do not forget the important things
Last year, I discovered an excellent small hex that is Garman’s custom warnings. I’m not perfect for remembering fuel during a long run. I will be jailed with me, but then I forget to completely. Now I have made warnings every 30 minutes that flash and vibrate on my watch during activity.
You can do the same for water intervals, or even when you think your family will please you, as a sign of race day. It is a small feature that has made a big difference in keeping my energy stable during training and races.

Cooperate with your favorite apps to reduce Admin

Garman allows you to make your workout directly on the watch, which is useful if your coach sends you a session or you find an online workout you want to try. But if you are following one of the best running apps such as Kada or Ranna, you can align these runs directly to your watch. In this way, your plan is ready to follow the steps, step -by -step, disturbed, without entering every detail.
You can also connect the Garman with Strava so every run is automatically uploaded. Even if you are not chasing PB, friends and comments of friends can be a real promotion.
Better packing
One of the reasons I really like Garman’s custom workout feature is on Race Day. I can develop a high -speed plan that breaks the distance in smaller parts with mini goals, which makes it more pursuit and keeps me stimulating to the end. It is also useful to recreate an exercise that you have found online or designed runs to focus on specific goals, such as mountain training or negative spiral.

Keep tabs on rest and recovery
I do not think that comfort and recovery features are essentially something that people are paying hundreds of pounds while buying Garmen, but I am really grateful for the sleep and recovery statistics provided by my watch, especially when racing training.
Based on your training burden and sleep quality, the Garman gives you a guess how well your body has recovered from exercise and how ready you are ready for the next section. When you are deep in training, keeping a watch can make a friendly nod to take a rest day or go into an easy session, making a difference between stable progress and exceeding the limit.
I know from the experience that following these recommendations have helped me to avoid quickly and stay consistently during the toughest weeks.

Use GPS and navigation to discover safely and get home
A good GPS clock just doesn’t record your distance. It can remove routes, track its speed, and help you get to an unknown area.
For me, personally, the feature of the Garaman’s back is a life -saving. When running on holidays in the French rural areas, I once took the wrong turn and found myself surrounded by a cow, no one was to seek any guidance around it. A sharp look on my watch led me to direct holiday fares.
Whether you’re looking for a new city, dealing with a technical trail run or keeping a keen eye on your distribution, the Garman market is known to create some reliable watches of GPS.
Also track your cross -training sessions
The Garaman is not only running, nor can we find a widespread activities. I log in to my strength training, hiking, and even yoga, and watch factors into my stats and feedback.
This means that your recovery, the burden of training, and the recommended exercise reflects your full routine, not your runs. For example, it can prevent you from doing more long if it knows you have a strict power session a day earlier. Even if you are not chasing personal best, seeing how all your activities are included can encourage you to maintain a balanced training routine and make better choices about comfort and intensity.

It offers some useful insights of health, but some can be better
Garman watches work more than track runs. They also have tabs on your health, from heart rate to sleep and stress to sleep and physical battery. My garaman once put an extraordinary flag in my heartbeat, forcing me to meet the doctor and diagnose the heart condition. This little warning has completely changed how I train, and I am glad my carman made me aware of something that I would do otherwise.
There is also a period of time and fertility, but now it depends mostly on the fact that you log in with other features of the watch. I would love to see it in a training preparation or recommended exercise so that your watch can blink you harder or back in terms of your cycle.
