The Realme GT8 Pro is gearing up for a global launch this month and will be the first to bring the latest Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16.
Realme UI 7.0 is a flagship design, employing a variety of transparencies. The featured look is called the “Light Glass Design” and features transparency, depth and glass-inspired fluidity. Then there are the Ice Cube icons, the Misty Glass Control Center and the Breathing Dock.
The user interface is also becoming more customizable. Flux Theme 2.0 adds large text themes. You can set a panoramic view for the Always On Display and customize the fingerprint unlock animations. You can set a live photo or video as wallpaper and apply AI-infused depth of field effects. There are new widgets and lock screen styles, as well as reusable Flux desktop icons.
New in this version is iPhone and Apple Watch Connect. This will allow you to sync health data from Apple Watch to your RealPhone. Also, calls and messages from iPhone will appear on Realme watches.
The multitasking sidebar offers quick access to selected apps and key tools without exiting the current app. Under-the-hood improvements to Flux Engine improve overall system responsiveness by up to 15%, make app scrolling up to 29% smoother and day-to-day scrolling performance up to 22%. New smoother animations also help create a fluid experience.

Realme UI 7.0 also leverages AI to reduce notification spam—AI Notify Briefs will take intrusive notifications and create morning and evening briefs for you. It can also generate app updates and tru-dos to help you manage your time better.
Another feature is AI Framing Master, which will guide budding photographers and help them get the perfect look for a scene by explaining basic composition principles so users can do it themselves next time. Likewise, the AI Gaming Coach will provide insights into your game to help you hone in on the binding.

Realme UI 7.0 will be available on the Realme GT8 Pro out of the box. The new OS version and UI will start rolling out to older models this month – the GT7 Pro will be the first to get it. A more detailed roadmap for the update will be announced soon. The new version is already available as an open beta for select devices.
