Just when I thought Wi -Fi was already working hard on wireless standards before Wi -Fi 6E, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Wi -Fi alliance. Although the WiFi 8 is still in the planning phase, but after learning more about the ability to change wireless contact, as we know, I am already very excited for a world where whatever major network you contact will soon feel like a mesh.

For those who are not the latest on the latest Wi -Fi developments, let me break the real quickly for you. Although it was an extension rather than a new wireless standard, Wi -Fi 6E was really a big deal when he launched back in 2020. The reason for this is that by then, there were only two wireless bands to work: 2.4 and 5 GHz. WiFi 6E added another band that used a 6GHz spectrum that has just been available. Not only is the 6GHz band sharp, it is also not less crowded because most laptops and phones still use 5GHz bands while hungry gadgets with the best smart home devices and other low data use 2.4 GHz bands.

Then came the Wi-Fi-7, which included a ton of new features such as 4K-QAM modulation, increased input and multi-link operation (MLO) for improved reliability and speed, still providing access to this faster 6GHz band. Now with WiFi 8, its focus is low at speed and high on reliability.

After talking with the Vice President of Technical Standards in the Qualcomm of the Rollf Divagit, I hope more about Wi -Fi 8 more and will allow each of the future to experience wireless contact as one of the next wireless quality key features when I used to use one of the best Wi -Fi routers in the Wi -Fi router.

Don’t think me wrong, by switching to a new traditional Wi -Fi router, when you sign up, your Internet service provider gave you, of course, a huge and noticeable upgrade. However, if you live in a large home or apartment, your download and uploaded speed will improve but you may not have overall experience.

The reason behind this is one of the most disturbing problems in the world of home networking: Wi -Fi dead zone. When you are close to your router, you will find a strong and reliable signal. However, what happens when you walk away from it and get out of the limits? You know the places around your house – like in this remote room on the other side of your house or even out in your garage – where you can’t get a signal. They are the Wi -Fi dead zone.

There are many solutions to deal with this problem that add a pair of the best power line adapter to add an excellent Wi -Fi extension of your home network to the edge of your home network and enhance your home network range. However, from my own personal experience, which included these two solutions, it was not really a tactic. I was going to defeat with poor wireless contact in some areas of my house and survived only until I upgraded to one of the best Mash Wi -Fi system and decided to go to everyone.

Unlike the traditional router, mesh Wi -Fi system or mesh router is actually not a single device designed to overcome your Wi -Fi problems. Instead, these are two to three (or even more) devices that work together to advance your Wi -Fi signal even further. With such a setup, you have a device that works as your main router and if you have a fiber internet and the rest of them plugs into a great cable modem or optical network terminal (ONT), called satellite or nodes, spread to your home. This satellite then relays a Wi -Fi signal from your router to each other, resulting in the evacuation of your home with a strong wireless signal.

If you live in a big house and eventually want to eliminate these WiFi dead places for good, I recommend upgrading to the whole mesh network. The biggest advantage of using the WiFi extender is that your devices are handed over from one satellite to another without interruption. What to do with all this with WiFi 8? Well, once the next wireless standard is adopted widely, you are going to have the same experience that will move on to a very large networks thanks to a perfectly new Wi -Fi -8 feature to reach one exact network on a perfect network.

Saying goodbye to the weird hands office

Although we spend most of our time online on small networks as we have at home, it is likely that you are probably connected to a bigger network than you think. For example, you may have signed a network at a large corporate office or even at the airport at a college campus.

Similarly, just as a mesh Wi -Fi system is able to blanket your entire home with a single, smooth network, the single -molten domains of Wi -Fi 8 will make it possible to achieve the same experience in large networks that covers the aforementioned wide spaces.

As Ralph D. Vegit pointed out in his blog post, once the next WiFi 8 standards are finalized, it will enable smooth roaming at several access points. In this way, you will not need to deal with these obstacles or packet drops when devices like your smartphone or laptop are transported from one access point to another.

The Vegit goes a step further in its explanation, though explaining how single mobility domains will provide “once -connected, always connected” experience to the future Wi -Fi -8 devices. It will be achieved by “continuous, lower -level contacts” as these devices physically move from one access point to the next one.

Here is a real world example that if you work in a big office and book rooms for video calls, you may have experienced yourself. We say that you are in a meeting that ends and someone else needs to use a place because it has booked for this time. You grab your laptop and find it to finish your call. However, when you leave the meeting room and go too far, people at other ends feel a dip in your video or audio quality or maybe the call at your end is completely frozen. Well, with the domain of single movements, this scenario can soon be a matter of past.

With a timely estimated date in 2028 and then consumer devices are manufactured in 2029 or 2030, WiFi 8 is still a way. However, the benefits and benefits of the next wireless quality are still gradually starting in the fantastic stage.

The future is already with WiFi 7

If you want significantly better Wi -Fi experience, you do not have to wait five years for Wi -Fi 8 networking devices and clients so they start rolling and then get two to three years widely available for them and then be somewhat cheaper. Instead, you can now promote your home network with a great Wi -Fi 7 routers.

The first wave of WiFi -7 -run routers began to re -release in 2023, but it did not happen until next January that the Wi -Fi alliance in fact made the latest wireless standard. In the years after that, we have seen the networking equipment makers issuing their top of the de la’a the de Di Di Di the Di Di the Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Di Diya, but now, they have begun sending more cheap middle distance and even budget equipment.

For those who want to take full advantage of the Wi-FI 7, I suggest that the Tri-bands spend a little more on the device-or the traditional router or mesh one if your home or apartment is large-with the support of the three wireless bands. During this year, companies have begun issuing double band Wi -Fi 7 devices such as Asus TUF gaming be6500 routers or MSI Roman B. Light mesh system. You will pay a slightly low price of the double band device but if you have an internet speed and if you want to experience a really fast Wi -Fi for yourself, then you must get WiFi 7 routers with 6GHz band support.

Litten traditional routers with a slightly different design, I suggest that TP Link Archer BB 800 take a look or if your budget is a bit smaller, Archer B 550 is also a very capable device, especially at about $ 300. Now on the front of the mesh, Net Gear and B 870 have a high -end option with fantastic range, but it also has Amazon’s its own aero Pro 7, which is perfect for smart homes with Alexa’s equipment. There are many other best options and I suggest that you look at the rest of our leaders and studies before making your final decision.

Finding the right device for your home is the first step to open a fast and stable Wi -Fi connection. This is the kind of thing that most of us look at with appreciation, unless the Internet goes down. However, since I can almost Almost guarantee that anyone who uses this article every day is like that, it is able to invest in a good traditional router or mesh router. Still, you will not have to worry about the buyer’s remorse and wish you will wait for the next wireless standard as we are years away from the launch of Wi -Fi 8.

Although personally, I can’t wait to wait to see what the next wireless standard brings and while the speed is always very good, at the end of the day, better reliable and even better.
