Each Android smartphone requires a file expatriate, and for Pixel Smartphones and many other people, the default option is the files through Google. This free, lightweight app offers the essential features of file management, and its clean design makes it quick and easy to view in folders or categories. This is a good way to clear duplicate files and maintain a free space on your device, but this is not the best file management app on Android.
I have used many file explorers on Android over the past years, and these are the best alternatives to files through Google that offer more advanced features, more attractive design, and additional customs.

Mix

Some files match the Explorer Mix Plver’s capacity and expansion. This is my favorite file management app for Android, and it has been in active development for more than a decade.
The name of the Mix Paller reflects the ability to connect various storage solutions from internal storage to external media, LAN, Google Drive, One Drive, and other cloud services without interruption. Once setup, you can access all this data without opening individual apps. In addition, the Mix Plor supports semlynx, which provides more flexible opportunities to file in Android.
Another famous feature is the customization design of the mix pliver. The default setting is user -friendly, but power users can connect additional functionality ADD ads, install skins to the theme, and use the tubed interface to easily switch between services and folders. I love the drop -down bread Crambs menu of the Mix Pulor, a design choice that makes it easier to back into the root folder without a screen space sacrifice.
Specifically, if you download it via XDA, the mix pliver is free, but the app has been built so well that I recommend that the developer help. You can do this by downloading a mix pulver silver through the Play Store.
Material files

Material files balance a capable UI, which has a wide feature set, which appeals to both files through Google users and power users. Thanks to the widespread use of your content, the app looks like Google can make it itself. Its elements adopt the overall color theme of your device and support automatic night mode activation based on system settings.
I argue that it is easier to use the UI mix plus, even if it does not provide the same extension. He said, everything I need is readily available in the left side of the left. I especially like its dedicated screenshots shortcut, which points me directly to a series of apps that I often use in my articles.
The app also supports external storage on local networks or physical media, but for example, it does not allow you to connect and browse files on Google Drive.
The solid explorer

Solid Explorer is also considered very much in the Android app. The solid mirror mixture is mostly mirroring the feature set of plor and is known as a high -end file management tool, but it contains some unique features. Perhaps my favorite is his real -time folder size display, which updates the byte count of each directory as to add or remove files.
Solid also offers a smart, polished UI experience. It supports two pan file management, which allows you to see the two directory. In addition, users can lock access to storage behind fingerprints, which is more attractive to me than the use of private space. As far as the original file management is concerned, it has a solid lead with the deterioration of useful folder information.
CX File Explorer

The CX File Explorer focuses more on the Android device storage management, offering different tools to help users manage the shrinking storage space. Its best feature is its analysis tools, in which details where the storage hogs are located, how much storage of each file type is used, and highlights the largest files on the device. I especially like this feature, because it helps me manage videos that store on my device for flights and offline entertainment.
Beyond these tools, the CX File Explorer is a compact icon -based Brad Crambs menu, a useful information box, a useful information box showing free storage, and a clean design with built -in image, video, and audio players.
Fossify File Manager

Last but at least, the phosage file manager is free, open source, and focuses on privacy and simplicity. In this sense, it probably provides the nearest experience with additional security options to files through Google. For example, it allows users to lock individual files and folders behind a fingerprint or password.
The UI is incredibly accessible, which has different color options for the overall theme, a tab description of which type of the file controls your drive, and easy search and organizational features.
Files through Google are not a bad app in any way. If anything, Google has created an easy, reliable file management tool that brings permanent performance to all Android apps. However, if you need some other features, want to access cloud storage and local network stores, or if you want to introduce additional safety levels to your main files, consider one of the five apps mentioned above.
