    • The upcoming iPhone 17 Pro 256GB can start with internal storage, which can eliminate the old 128GB option. The collision base is expected to increase the price of $ 50, along with a collision base.
    • Apple’s move can put pressure on Android flagship, such as the Galaxy S and Pixel Lineups, to dig low storage models and eventually start at 256 GB.

Android flagships have long moved to high storage options, with many offerings 1TB storage. Although external storage is a good option through extension of microSD card, it is not a bad idea to go with high (and significantly faster). However, occasionally, we see that the phone shamelessly comes out with 128 GB storage, which unfortunately is very low for most of these days. We may be moving forward on the flagship from 128GB storage, though, it seems that Apple is also moving forward with a 256GB base option for the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro.

Lakar Instant Digital shared that the next iPhone 17 Pro will start at 256 GB, eventually digging 128GB option for Apple’s Top Terror flagship lineup.

Lex cited another leaser, which said the iPhone 17 Pro would be more expensive in his predecessor, which is not unexpected if it has a storage conflict.

Currently, Apple’s iPhone 16 lineup has spread in the US:

    IPhone 16:

    • 128GB: 29 829
    • 256 GB: 29 929
    • 512GB: $ 1,129

    IPhone 16 Plus:

    • 128GB: 29 929
    • 256 GB: 0 1,029
    • 512GB: 29 1,229

    IPhone 16 Pro:

    • 128GB: 99999
    • 256 GB: 0 1,099
    • 512GB: 29 1,299
    • 1tb: 4 1,499

    IPhone 16 Pro Max:

    • 128GB: As for, as.
    • 256 GB: $ 1,199
    • 512GB: 3 1,399
    • 1tb: $ 1,599

The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $ 999 but has 128 GB storage. 256GB is 0,099 in storage variations. As an alternative, you can spend more $ 100 to get 256GB 16 Pro Max, as Pro Max does not come with 128GB storage.

Apple has been searched for prices for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, mainly to absorb the impact of rising costs and revenue. There is a right to increase the price of $ 50, but keep in mind that if the company is converting to more storage, the initial price of the iPhone 17 Pro (256GB) could be $ 1,149.

The silver layer here is that Apple moving beyond 128GB storage, Android flagship will also be quickly abandoned. As mentioned, many top lineups have already dug a low storage option, but we have some holdouts, such as the Galaxy S25, which still starts with 128GB storage. Even the next Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro is expected to start with 128 GB storage, which many people think that leaks do not justify the price. At least now we look forward to the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 11 Pro to start with 256GB storage.

It doesn’t look like Apple is completely abandoning 128GB storage. Base iPhone 17 and possibly the iPhone 17 Air can still ship with 128GB storage, which is unacceptable for their fixed price. The effect will be that we will still continue to see 128GB storage on Android Mid Rangers and budget powers, which is understandable for this price. I am glad that the upper head of the market is moving at least 128 GB. The next 2TB storage and even more Ram should be taken so that we can give more headrooms to fans for future proofs.
