OnePlus 15 5G
We have a full review of the OnePlus 15, as well as a separate test that compares it to the OnePlus 13 camera.
How does it compare to the OnePlus 13? The OnePlus 15 apparently gets the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes with a massive increase in battery capacity – from 6,000mAh to 7,300mah. Yes, even in Europe (it’s annoying that we have to explain this, but that’s the state of the mobile market right now).

OnePlus 15 in Infinity Black, Sandstorm and Ultraviolet
There’s a “but” coming up – all three rear cameras were lowered. The 50MP main has a 1/1.56″ sensor compared to 1/1.43 on the 2024 flagship. The telephoto camera has a slightly longer 3.5x/80mm lens (over 73mm/3x) but its 50MP sensor is smaller (1/2.76″ vs. 1/1.95″). The 50MP ultra-wide has a smaller field of view (116° vs. 120°) and a smaller sensor (1/2.88″ vs. 1/2.75″).
That’s not all. The 6.78″ OLED display is still an LTPO panel and also has a refresh rate of 165Hz (up from 120Hz). However, the resolution is lower (1,272 x 2,772px vs. 1,4440 x 3,168px) making up for a lower pixel density (450PPI vs. 510PPI).
OnePlus 15
The OnePlus 15 has to compete with a variety of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Dimension 9500-powered flagships, many of which are in the process of expanding into global markets.
Many of them have 200MP 1/1.4″ sensors in their periscopes, which are more impressive than the OnePlus 15’s main sensor, never mind its periscope. We don’t have European prices for most of them, but, for example, the Vivo X300 Pro costs €1,400 for a 16/512GB variant, again for a single PLIS. , again for a PLESS, €1,400 costs €1,400 for a PLESS.

So, what do you think – could the OnePlus 15 be your next flagship?
