Meiyu announced that the Genshin Impact would be closed on three stages on PS4, which would include removing the game, listing the game in the game, and eventually the end of update support.

The PS4 version of the Genshin Impact will be removed from the PlayStation Store on September 10, 2025. PS4 users who have never downloaded the game will not be able to access it, but those who are able to reload it from their libraries.

On February 25, 2026, a playing list will be given to the PlayStation Store and the Game Store. Finally, Mehu will eliminate all update support for Genshin effects on PS4 on April 8, 2026. After this date, PS4 users will not be able to log in to the game and will prevent the update of the Janeshin Impact installations.

Any game item purchased from the PlayStation Store but has not yet been claimed in the game has been claimed that the update of the Genshin Impact on PS4 can be linked to the game by logging into the game. After stopping updates, the user can claim items by logging into the PS5 version of the game.

Meiyu also recommended players on PS4 to start transfer to PS5 or other auxiliary platforms to continue playing the game. All the progress of the game from PS4 will be transmitted to other platforms.

The studio also announced on Wednesday that it was increasing the requirements of the minimum and proposed device details of the Ganshian Impact and the recommended device in the auxiliary platforms that began with the “Welcon Moon’s song” update. Gunshin impact will require Android 10,0 or above, with minimum requirements for SOC with Snapdragon 660 (Adreno 610) or Helio G88 (MALI-G52) and above. On Apple Devices, the game will run on the iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X, iPad Mini (5th Generation) or iPad Air (third generation) or iPad (8th generation) and later model, but the developer recommends the iPhone 12 series or iPad (9th generation) and later models. The Jinnashi Impact will also need iOS 13.0 and above.

The minimum requirement of the game for OS, processor, and GPU is also being raised on the PC.
