Not yet part of the WhatsApp club? No matter what, it seems that you will be able to sink your fingers soon without signing up.
A new feature called “Guest Chats”, which is found in Beta Blood by Wabitinpho, will allegedly allow anyone to interact with anyone without the WhatsApp account, which includes the updated after this feature.
To start a guest chat, an app user will need to invite a non -app user into an online chat by a link. The invited party does not have to install WhatsApp on its phone nor does the WhatsApp account, and the sender can share the online chat link on any platform he chooses. Text, email or social media.
Upon opening a chat link, the guest will be involved in the encrypted chat with the sender. Guest chats will be just one-no group chat-and photos, videos or GIFs can be shared. Sounds and video messages will not be supported.
The app owner Meta did not respond to the request to comment immediately.
Brooks Consulting International’s President Chuck Brooks says WhatsApp’s new “guest chats” do not come without dangers and once “5 -tech sounds are called that you should follow LinkedIn.”
“There are many issues related to allowing users to accept messages from unknown contacts on the WhatsApp, among them are issues of chief malware, fraud and confidentiality,” Brooks said.
Brooks noted that this change predicts the possibility that consumers with bad intentions will be as trusted, provide dangerous links, or try fishing schemes.
“Unknown contacts can move forward and contain links to fishing websites that aims to steal personal data or to impress a user’s device with malware,” he said. “When you receive messages from strangers, it can also result in unwanted interactions, such as harassment or increasing unwanted groups.”
This upcoming WhatsApp feature brings Meta according to the European Union’s 2020 Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act. A clause of this legislation was allowing WhatsApp and Messenger users to communicate with other messaging services in Europe, or Meta is interpreted as “third party chats”.
WhatsApp is the world’s most famous messaging app, with more than 2 billion monthly users. The United States is on the way with the most WhatsApp iOS download.
