This is one of the days where Taktok drops a whole luggage at the same time. New tools, new features and major updates are moving together. Basically, if you use trickyak in any way, there is probably something here for you. Techtok is developing his family pairing setup with his features that give parents a better exposure to what their teenage is working on the app – without killing their voice completely.
A big change? Parents will now find automatic warnings when their teen posts (such as videos, stories or photos) appear to others. This is a move that aims to give rise to the conversation, they do not control. But how will it work, it depends more than just setting within an app, okay?
Parents now have more ways to monitor their adolescent behaviors.
Parents will also find a clear look at the privacy settings in their teenage selection – such things as is allowed to download for their videos or the following list is common. And with the feature of the themes, the young people can already work properly what kind of content shows their feed, but now parents will be able to see what their teen is engaged with. These include things like sports, nature, creative arts and travel – a total of more than 10 famous categories.
Now on something new: Good Mission. These are short, feeling good challenges that are designed to help users develop better digital habits over time. Complete a mission, get the badge and probably build a healthy relationship with your screen along the way. Ticotok is also working on a more united app experience that is fully focused on digital welfare, which will combine tools and resources at a simple place.
The Mission Missions is now part of the Techtok experience.
But it’s not just about users – creators are also getting a group of new tools. This is what is new to them:
- Creator Care Mode: Think of it as a better comment filter that helps prevent the worst.
- Directly dumb feature: Creators can now bulk the dumb words, phrases, or even amogies when they go straight.
- Content Check Light: This tool allows the creators to check in advance if you are blocked by feeding your content before you feed.
- Creator Inbox: A new, clean way to handle the DMS more efficiently.
- Create Chatroom: Let the creators chat directly with eligible followers.
The aforementioned features are available to the creators on the platform.
And if you have heard of the foot notes, this feature is officially expanding. It is still limited to the pilot program in the United States, but it is raising steam. Foot notes allow users to add context to videos, and now, the US community can view and classify these notes.
Foot notice works a lot like a Meta Community Notice, which gives users a way to add a helpful context to posts to make everyone better aware of Facebook, Instagram, and threads.
About 80 80,000 US users have qualified to contribute so far. Including you, you need to stay in the United States, have been accountable for at least 6 months, and be clear from recent community guidelines. Applications are still open, and Taktok expects even more users will join.
So yes, that’s very. Whether you are scrolling, posting, parents, or creating – Taxotok is losing something for everyone today. Because let’s face it, the platform works only when both sides are happy.
And while Ticotok is still not out of the jungle in the United States (is still growing with a potential restriction), this wave of features – especially focused on US consumers – suggests that the company is feeling more hopeful behind the screen. Perhaps they know what we don’t yet do.
