The company has just unveiled the Fantom Ultimet G Fold Concept, a new tri -fold smartphone that has an internal folding design, which techno claims that it is the world’s thin tallest tragedy form. It is expected that the MWC will be displayed in 2026. We know that the “tri -fold” is a slightly misleading way to refer these three panel devices, but it seems that the tech world is running with it.
According to the press release, the phone introduces a dual-hen “g style” system that allows the 9.94-inch flexible display twice to connect, when it is not used, fully connects the screen. This approach protects the display from scratch and collision, while a separate core screen handles more common smartphone tasks.
The idea of GK -shaped folds is not completely indifferent. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy G -Fold launch later this year. Although we do not yet know how thick the Samsung device will be, the techno is highlighting the compact as a key discrimination from existing foldables. When paired, the Phantom Altmet G-Fold concept merely measures 11.49 mm thick-which is compared to many current dual panel devices-and when it opens, only 3.49 mm. While there is no word yet that the concept of G -folds will be commercially released, it indicates the growing interest of the techno in advancing foldable form factors.
