The original “M3Gan” was partially successful thanks to its simple, straightforward basis: the robot doll turned the killer. There is nothing simple or straightforward about the new sequel “M3Gan 2.0” (theater Friday), which is both a power and responsibility for the film director Gerard John Stone’s film.
It is impossible to say that “M3Gan 2.0” is just a regeneration of his predecessor, which is a trap in which many horror sequels come. But being so fast off the small -scale horror, which is primarily a superhero action movie, “M3Gan 2.0” made the first film so attractive.
Nevertheless, I will take a great deal of dirt on the boring registration, and even its most abusive, “M3Gan 2.0” is alive and entertaining, so full of humor and happiness.

The first film has become popular on the wave of memes, and even when “M3Gan 2.0” is clearly trying to engineer the new Memoni moments. Similar viral focus is difficult to occupy, but even if the “M3Gan 2.0” is not equal to the valuable charm of the first film, it has a memorable bump.
‘M3GAN 2.0’ turns M3GAN into anti -heroes of hesitation
The biggest change between “M3Gan” films is that M3gan itself is now less or less to good boys.
Originally designed as a Android companion for Young orphan Caddy (Violet McGrath), M3GAN (M. Donald played on the screen and voiced by Jena Davis) became a bully in the first film, and anyone took anyone to kill the child as a mandate.

There is now a very dangerous threat in the form of Amelia (Ivana Sakhano), a military grade Android that has disobeyed its programming and plans to launch a robot rebellion.
Of course, the M3GN was not really destroyed at the end of the first film, and its electronic consciousness, which included Caddy and Jima (Allison Williams), had a tab on the designer of Auntie and M3GA. When government agents broke the House of Jima and Caddy, information about Amalia was demanded, which was built using M3Gan’s initial designs, M3gan shows itself and offers to help find its megalomanic counterpart.
The most obvious touchstone for this transition is James Cameron’s “Terminator 2: Day of Decision”, which included Arnold Schwarzengner’s killer Cyberg, a potential human savior, John Conner (Edward Furlong) and his mother, Sarah (Linda Hamilton). The M3GA also ends with a stopping that prevents him from killing humans, just as John gives T800 in “Terminator 2”.

But there is also a long history of superhero stories about the smart team -up between the hero and the villain to counter the big enemies, which includes M3GN, along with characters like Magneto and Loki.
Like these characters, she maintains her vicious edge until she agrees with the war with Jema and semi -apology for her past behavior. In this way, the “M3Gan 2.0” M3GA’s violent measures and more flexible – and even the newborn – need to make the M3GA’s violent actions and faster tasks.
Over -staffed plot weight ‘m3gan 2.0’ down
Although M3Gan once again fully active, it takes about an hour of a two -hour film. There is a lot of configuration to reach this location, which includes Jema’s new role as a responsible technology worker, works with its summer boyfriend Christian (Aristotle Uttar), as well as Jema’s Tech Startup with Returning Collected Cole (Jendon).
Jemin Clement has a charming auxiliary character as a great tech Mogol who wants Jema to work with her, but she mostly acts as a red herring, which disappears from the film very quickly. When the M3gan Gemma convinces it to make it a new, strong, tall body, the world is already on the way to AI apocalypse, and “M3Gan 2.0” has been transformed into a “mission: impossible” film.

There are numerous sub -discriminations within the main mission, which causes a long twist of long villain and somewhat clear plot. There are also some well -known action streams, including a fight conference in a neon light transit conference between M3GAN and Ammilia, which looks like “Tran”. There is some real role growth for JEMA, Caddy and M3GAN, which has strong performances (including Donald and Davis Tandem working well).

“M3Gan 2.0” does not resemble a horror movie at all, but it is not as if the original “M3Gan” was all terrible. The message about technology and AI is disappointingly mixed, but the message about M3gan itself is clear: it is hard and strong, and it is not going anywhere.
