Depending on how you use a cellphone – and maybe even the size of your hand, Google’s latest adaptation is just a welcome change.

Starting on Tuesday, Android users for Chrome can now put the address bar at the bottom of their phone screens, the move that comes almost 17 years after the first Android phone market in 2008. Users can still put the address bar, but being able to below it can have the meaning for people with a particular hand size or phone size.

In a blog post on Tuesday, Google said, “A position of the address bar may feel more comfortable than the other. We have designed this update to provide you with flexibility in choosing your favorite location – so you can browse more easily.”

Google, Google, Google, to move the address bar to bottom, instructs to select the long pressure on it and select the address bar ‘option. Or just go to the menu of the settings and select the’ Address Bar ‘to choose your preferred place. “

All options will travel with the address bar, including tab switches, three dot -flower menu and other shortcuts. And if you prefer you can put the address bar.

Google said the option to move the address bar will eventually be available to all users in the coming weeks.

Little change that makes a difference

Jason Hole, host of the Android loyal podcast, and former CNET staff praised the upgrade through Google.

He told CNET, “Since smartphones are growing, and not only wider but often tall, using one hand is more difficult.” “The recent Motozer Ultra’s internal display is a good example: it is so long that it is practically impossible to run with one hand. It is often difficult and dangerous to reach the top address bar with one hand. Giving users the option to keep the address bar down means that Google’s important apps are more accessible.”

Giving users the address bar comes a few years later when Apple did the same with the iOS 15 rollout with its safari search bar. In response to the year users who complain about the search bar that they are pre-default-sometimes cut the content of the webpage-Apple activated the top bootome option at the end of 2021.
