As it stands, NBN 750 is not a official term. However, we are making a logical estimate, given the current name of the current name of NBN projects, under which the number refers to theoretical maximum download pace.
The reason for this is that NBN has confirmed that NBN 250 projects will get 750Mbps 3x speed boost for free – or, at least, will make retail service providers (RSPs) a speed boost -free at wholesale level.
When will NBN 750 be available?
The NBN partner revealed on September 14, 2025, when it is the most important date for the NBN 750 project and other projects for the NBN 2000 and NBN 500.
At the same time, we cannot yet say with confidence that the NBN 750 projects will be available for users the same day. If you currently sign up for an NBN 250, it may take a little time until you are informed about your pace increase. We say that because RSPs will likely need some adjustments at the end of them.
NBN 250 projects are currently known as ‘Superfast’ projects and we will not change to help and help minimize any confusion.

How fast will the NBN 750 projects be?
