Yesterday, the dimensions of the Meditack came to the 9500 Gack Bench, which was our first brush with a new arm cover. It is called “Travis” code and no, it was not running at 4GHz, just 3.23GHz. Travis is not yet official, but the Lexter digital chat station reports that it will be unveiled in September.
According to the DCS, the key matriculation for flagship chips will become IPC, “every clock cycle”. This can make the magic of the end of the race on the mobile. The simplest explanation of the IPC is that the IPC’s double CPU needs half the clock speed to work in the same amount. The truth is not so easy, but it is the rule of the thumb.
Travis will provide “double digit growth” in IPC (measured in percentage), which will allow it to run more efficiently. Remember that high clock speed requires a high -core voltage and increases the square production voltage square – this means that even small differences can have a great effect.
Travis Core also supports SME, Arm Extension Matrix Extension. Matrix and vector calculations are the heart of all modern AI applications, but also about each classic signal processing algorithm (thinking image and audio processing).
In addition to the same trace cover, the dimension will also be equipped with 9500 three Alto and four Gilas Cores (the next Cartax-A7 X-X-Core, while the Alto is a little mystery). The GPU is a new design called “Draz” called ARM code, which will be sold under “Mall-G1” branding.
You can check the ARM presentation here from the computer 2025, especially the section titled “The next -generation arm Lumax CSS” (Computer Sub System).
PS ARM is retiring the “cortex” brand and dividing it into several branches: “Lomax” for mobile, “Nava” for PC, “Zena” for automotive, “Neurore” for servers and “and Base” for IOT.
