Google has gradually improved how Gemini appears in the past few months. The assistant interface has become more polished, and more integrated, with features such as compact floating overlay and subtle dynamic images. Now, Google is testing another visual update, and it can make Gemini feel more like Google and is less like a chat boot.

The new Google App 16.23.69.Sa.Arm64 Beta release, we managed to get the app to take a look at the app on a new visual treatment for Gemini’s overley. Instead of two tone colors in the current repetition, this version converts them to red, blue, green and yellow Google’s brand palette.

This update points to further branding stability, a project Google has been working for a while. This helps to bring more consistency to Google products. This is a visual reminder that you are using Google Gemini, no other AI toll. These changes are not yet straightforward, and currently it seems that Google’s internal estimates are being evaluated. However, if and when it sends the ship, expect more colorful Gemini experience.
