Although its name may feel like a full -size American SUV, Macos Tahao 26 is actually named after the Lake Tahao, which is sitting on the edge of California and Nevada. In the remaining Apple’s rest of the new software portfolio we have brought a new language of liquid glass design. Some of the major features introduced with iOS 26, such as call screening, hold an assist, and direct translation, are coming into Macos.
Liquid glasses bring more depth, a transparent menu bar and highly notable visual changes to the control center. Apple increased the control center toggle and added the theme color so you could unite your desktop more. You can also select new folder colors and add emojis to them.
Apple is bringing the phone app on Mac, though it requires an active iPhone to work. You can take and receive calls and access your favorite contacts.

Direct activities will now be in the menu bar so that you can check applications with food orders or rides, although like a phone app, this feature operates through the iPhone.
Spotlight gets its biggest update so far. Customers can now complete any task such as sending an email, making notes or opening another apps without launching a shortcut. You can even use the spotlight to perform the actions available within its menu bar. Spotlight results are now listed and classified based on user compatibility.

Shortcuts are also getting over -haul and can now be implemented at the default times or with specific operations.

Safari finds a visual theory according to the new liquid glass design, as well as improves loading speed and battery life. Apple’s journal app is now available on Mac.
The new app for Apple Games is also here and brings a game overley with sound, brightness, joints controller and battery surface. Apple is also bringing Metal 4 with Frame Metal FX, Frame Interpiation, and Metal FX Dinosing. Consumers will also see the growing catalog of sports, in which big topics are coming soon.

Macos Tahao 26 is available today in the developer beta. The public son is coming next month, while official release will reduce this fall. All Apple Silicon Max and Intel Model with T2 Security Chip (MacBook Pro, Air since 2018).
