Canalis reported in their latest report that Q1 2025 has increased 18 % in the global market for TWS (true wireless stereo) audio devices. This has been the highest annual rate since 2021, which reaches 78 million units.
Apple was a leader with an 18.2 million batch, double the second -class Xumi. Samsung came closer to third, followed by Huawei and boat.
The US market increased dual digits in Q1 2025, but Canalis said it was due to the construction of inventory in response to tariff uncertainty. Apple has more than 50 % of the market share in North America, while small manufacturers are retreating due to regular landscape demand and uncertainty.
Canalis analysts pointed out that the TWS market is entering a new phase. In the short term, each purpose is to provide form factor innovation or scenario -based use issues, but it is the capacity of a vendor to go beyond cost competitiveness, which will explain the market in the long run.
