I’ve reviewed several products from Eureka Ergonomic – office chairs, standing desks – and each one always has a special style to them that goes beyond the usual office furniture design. So, when I got the chance to review the NOX Genuine Leather Office Chair, I had to check it out.
It doesn’t fit the mold of the best chairs I’ve reviewed, and maybe that’s what makes it a niche market. This chair has a separate armrest that would be an absolute dream – if you don’t mind the executive price tag.
Eureka Ergonomic NOX: Price and Availability
The Eureka Siren NOX is an upgrade to the standard reclining chair I’ve reviewed in the past. The NOX is made of genuine leather and, like the Model T Ford, is offered in only one color: black.
It’s currently available direct from Eureka Ergonomic’s website, retailing for $750 — though at the time of review, it’s up to $600.
Eureka Ergonomic NOX: Unboxing and First Impressions
Eureka Nox came in standard packaging, excellent protective materials and a quality box. Setup was quick and painless, taking just 20 minutes to build. While most chairs have a handful of colorway options, true to the very nature of the name, the NOX comes in black, and only black.
This, paired with a sleek metal frame makes this chair look amazing. The lumber has a slight pattern to it that is very interesting to look at, and besides, the angular armrests are more artistic than functional, although they are fine most of the time.

This chair doesn’t scream but confidently whispers a high-end, professional office chair. Whether he’s a top-tier executive or a Bondian supervillain, I can’t tell yet. It’s a bold design, all about strong lines that taper gently to the lumbar support, with the chair rising to the base of the seat. It’s amazing in all the right ways.
The chair has simple, yet manageable controls, offering tilt and lock options, height adjustment, and tension control. The lumbar section of the chair provides good support, but does not affect this silhouette, cool, calm, unassuming. One part I’ve noticed more than the spine is the waterfall-style seat, which cushions the sides of my legs and relieves pressure at the same time.
All around, this chair is supportive, sturdy, yet comfortable and, at the very least, elegant looking. It is perfect for a professional office, an executive suite, BatQ.
Eureka Ergonomic NOX: In use
I got this chair for my team to ride for 100 days. My team members and I have spent entire days in this chair, with no discomfort or need to move to another chair. Lumbar support isn’t the most aggressive, but that’s okay, not every chair desperately needs lumbar protrusion.
Even after a full work day, we haven’t had any complaints of back pain, so I’m willing to say that the lumbar support is this chair’s strong suit. Another interesting note is that although these armrests are not adjustable, I have yet to have a complaint from a team member. Maybe it’s because when you sit in that chair you don’t expect it to be something that it’s not, you sit in that chair and you feel like an executive.
You could be sitting in that chair in your office with literally nothing to do, no power, on your first day and feel like you’re starting with a leg up because of that chair. This chair feels you when you sit in it.
There are some scenarios where these armrests may not be ideal, but for most, they’ll be fine, or if you like the style and overall aesthetic and feel of this chair, they’ll be worth the lack of adjustment.
Some chairs you leave look and design for overall comfort and features. The NOX is the exact opposite, leaving you with highly adjustable armrests and backrests for an overall aesthetic.
This is another element of this chair that you should probably be aware of. You don’t want to use this chair with a cheap folding desk, nor on a kitchen table, where you have a temporary workspace, you don’t want to use this chair in a bullpen, you want to use this chair in an office, in executive corner suites, you want this chair at a high-end corporate reception desk so it looks the part and still provides comfort.
Eureka Ergonomic NOX: The Final Verdict
Peace at Eureka sits in a very special niche. It’s for professionals, it’s for executives, it’s for people who want something that looks the part, looks professional, looks classy, and looks luxurious. This chair isn’t the type you’d see in a budget operation, but one you’d see in a highly successful firm.
And, as a result, this kind of chair makes anywhere that it feels a little elevated. If you’re looking for a quality chair that fits the aesthetic first and foremost, you should absolutely consider the Eureka Ergonomic NOx. But if you’re on a budget, or want something that’s more spine-friendly, than this might not be the best chair for you, maybe send the link to your boss.
