Last month, OnePlus began teasing three new products that it is set to unveil in full on December 17: the OnePlus 15R, the OnePlus Pad Go 2, and the OnePlus Watch Lite.
Today, the company has revealed more details about the three. Let’s start with the OnePlus 15R smartphone. It is now confirmed to come with an AMOLED screen with “1.5K” resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The panel can go down to 2 nits, or even 1 NIT at night when you lower the white point.
The handset will also use OnePlus’ new Details Engine for photos, which premiered on the OnePlus 15 with three “advanced technologies”: Ultra Clear Mode, Clear Burst, and Clear Night Engine. All three will be in the 15R as well.
The OnePlus 15R is powered by Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. It will be the first device to launch globally using this chipset. The 15R also has a G2 Wi-Fi chip, and a touch response chip, both developed in-house.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 has a 12.1-inch screen with a “2.8K” resolution and a peak brightness of 900 nits. That tells us it’s an LCD panel, and OnePlus says it reaches 98% of the DCI-P3 color space while supporting Dolby Vision.
Finally, the OnePlus Watch Lite is advertised to last more than 10 days of typical use on a single charge, which tells us that it won’t be running a wearable OS. It also includes more than 100 sport modes, a heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen sensor, dual-band GPS, and “comprehensive health tracking,” including a “60-second wellness review.”
The watch comes in “a premium Phantom Black finish,” is crafted from stainless steel, will be scratch resistant, and is 8.9mm thick while weighing just 35 grams. It has a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen with 3,000 nits peak brightness in sports mode, and 600 nits peak brightness “for everyday use”. It will support connectivity to both Android and iOS devices.
