It’s the Real GT 8 Pro and it’s coming globally on November 20. But we already have it at the HQ and can show you the design of the phone up close.
Which is perfect, because the design is this phone’s strongest asset. Realme went with a changeable camera bump design, giving you a choice of not only form, but finish and color as well. The camera bump can be either rectangular or circular and also in different shapes – like a robot. Or, technically, you can leave the phone without a camera bump, defaulting to a car without a bumper-type look.
Realme sent us a sneak peek of all seven cameras that will be available initially, and we’ve lined them all up for your viewing pleasure. In several markets including India, Italy, Spain, Poland, and France, the phone will ship with an attached and boxed spare, and you’ll be able to get the rest yourself. Realme has promised to sell them in all markets where the phone is available.
They attach to the phone’s camera island via two T4 screws. Realme provides both a small Torx screwdriver and two additional screws with the phone.

The GT8 Pro runs Android 16 with Realme’s UI version 7.0 on top. It is close to Oppo’s Claros 16.

Finally, let’s do a proper unboxing. Realme GT8 Pro ships with a stacked box. You get a 120W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, two extra screws, a small Torx screwdriver, and a case.
The phone comes with a circular island in the box, and in turn, the supplied case has a circular opening.

Realme will also sell you an additional case with a rectangular opening and a rectangular camera bump. It’s really up to you how you want your GT8 Pro to look.
Even the case needs to be different to fit different styles of camera mounts
We have the Urban Blue Realme GT8 Pro, and it’s kind of a rich color. It is very subdued.
The phone has a flat glass front, flat matte metal sides, and a vegan leather back panel with a worn-like texture. It is pleasant to the touch, and it is very safe in the hand.
Finally, the Real GT8 Pro ships with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which we’ve already benchmarked and proved to be an amazing performer. So you’re getting a proper flagship experience. That’s all we have on GT8 Pro, but we’ll have a lot more to share with you soon, so stick around!
