Unveiled in China last month, the IQ15 will begin its international rollout this month, with the India debut slated for November 26.
The IQOO 15 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chip at the helm and includes four cameras.
The rear camera setup includes a primary (OIS), a periscope telephoto (OIS, 3X optical), and an ultrawide camera, with the primary camera using a Sony IMX921 sensor and the periscope telephoto camera employing a Sony IMX882 sensor. The ultra-wide camera relies on Samsung’s S5KJN1SQ03 sensor, while the front camera uses the GALAXYCORE GC32E1-WA1XA.
The return of the periscope telephoto camera, which was present on the IQOO 12 but dropped from the IQOO 13 last year, also brings back the telephoto macro mode. It’s called Super Macro and can be accessed by clicking the flower icon in the top-right corner of the default camera app’s photo mode. You can take macro shots at 1x (25mm), 2x (46mm), 3x (73mm), and 6x (146mm) magnifications with Super Macro mode.

IQOO is also introducing an 85mm focal length (3.7x magnification) in portrait mode with the IQOO 15 as a “sweet spot” between 50mm and 100mm focal lengths.

IQ invited us to a media briefing last week, where we got our hands on the IQ15 and took quick photos. We’re sharing them below so you can check them out on the Pixel itself. You can also use our comparison tool on the desktop version of the website to compare two images.
Daylight photos
First, we have the daylight photos, which produce 12.6MP, clicked with the 50MP primary camera in default photo mode. These are followed by photos taken in high-resolution mode with the same camera.

Primary camera, 12.6MP, 1x magnification (23mm).

Primary camera, 50.3MP (high resolution), 1x magnification (23mm).

Now, we have some photos taken in portrait mode, which supports five focal lengths – 23mm (1x), 35mm (1.5x), 50mm (2.2x), 85mm (3.7x), and 100mm (4.3x).
