Boya Magic: One minute review
There is a sheer amount of the cut you carry a bottom side for the shooting of video and content. Even the most rear setup requires abundance of accessories. Beyond, how many different microphones do you need to cover different situations? This is a problem that is effectively focused through Boya Magic, which is a 4-in-1 wireless mic designed to become a jack of all trade.
Lewleier (Laple), on -camera, handheld and desktop are all shapes that can take the Magic Mic. MIC is available in several kits, but if you choose the most comprehensive and still competitive price of these three, you can connect MICs to smartphones, computers and cameras using USB-C, electricity, and 3.5 mm TRS, which makes it a significant upgrade to the Boy Money and potentially wireless Mics.
Since it is a multi -purpose mic, we can discuss its performance and features in length, but we will later find those people. Focusing on the lavaleer max, which is transmitters in all settings, and in the spine of the MIC, these two small 7g units can be connected to the clothing with clips or magnets, and can create an impressive quality of 24 bit. They are incredibly easy to boot with the best noise cancellation.
I have to acknowledge that when I first got Boya Magic, I was skeptical about its performance, but I was impressed with Mike’s testing in all four configurations associated with my smartphone, computer and my camera.
Boy Magic: Price and release date
- Is now available
- Three kits to choose
- Prices start from $ 93 / £ 89 / AU $ 159
Boya Magic Boya is available from the website and Amazon. The USB-C kit price is $ 93 / £ 89 / AU $ 159, USB-C and power cut cost $ 140 / £ 119 / aU $ 209 and USB-C, electricity and 3.5mm TRS kit cost $ 151 / £ 129 / aU $ 229. All of all, looking at Mike’s ability, this is a very good price for money.
A slightly frustrating aspect of Boya Magic is that you have to buy the Boyi mini tripod separately, and it is necessary for the use of a tablet and mic camera. This is not the end of the world, and the cost is only $ 30 / £ 20 / AU $ 46 (currently remained at $ 20 in the US), but it would be better if it was added to the cut option with at least 3.5 mm TRS.

Boya Magic: Design
- Modern design
- Extremely versatile
- Compact and lightweight
This 4-in-1 mic system is built around a compact charging case that increases the foam and dead cat in the kits, three times like a camera, handheld and desktop mic. It is only 141.3 x 26.5 x 21 mm and weighs 62.5 grams. Behind the clean door of the plastic, the livaleer mic is stored and charged. When used in these methods, it is the first slot, in the upper part of the case, the livaleer mic, which records the sound in the glass door and through holes in the upper part of the charging case.
Lewaleier is the backbone of the system, and in my opinion, the most impressive. And for the creators who are using Lewaleier Mics as handheld Mics, this system provides a very comfortable and professional -looking solution.
The two lavale micks are incredibly compact and lightweight in only 35 x 15.2 x 13 mm and 7G. There is a clip in the rear section to connect Mix to the clothing, as well as a magnet plate on each clip so that you can increase the options to connect MICs to your clothes in more imagination, though I am afraid that it can be easier to lose them over time. A two clip for kits for the kits comes with the air cover.
The quality of the construction of all the components is great, and the small car bag adjusts everything safe and clean. The overall design of the kit is modern, while the operation is incredibly easy, with just one button and charging case on each mic. It can be used to turn on and turn off Mics on and off, and to turn on and off the cancellation of AI noise.
USB-C and power recipients are small and lightweight, slots in the port of your phone, and have strength by the phone. The 3.5 mm TRS camera is connected to the hotshow and offers a six -hour battery life. It is designed straight, with just a power button, a volume/gin buttons and 3.5 mm jack. There is no Bluetooth contact, such as in some Mics, beyond the Bluetooth connection to the recipients, so these recipients are essential.
Boya Magic: Performance
- Incredibly easy in use
- Excellent AI noise cancellation
- 24 -bit audio
The formation of the mic is incredibly easy, from opening the kit to the first use. This is one of the more intuitive wireless Mics I have used, and you can use the Boy Central app to adjust the settings, including the cancellation of the AI noise, the cancellation of the EQ, the AI noise, and the limits, and to use the camera -receiving precision and firmware updates.
The MICS is completely, so they will raise their voices from every direction. It does not cause a problem when recording in a calm environment, but when there is a background noise, you often need to use AI noise cancellation, which is available with two power settings in terms of background noise levels.
The cancellation of AI noise is powered by Deep Neural Networks (DNNS), which is trained at more than 700,000 real -world noise samples and 20,000 hours deep. Boya claims that by pressing -40 DB, it can separate sounds from noise in millions. In use, the cancellation of AI noise is undoubtedly impressive, and it does not distort the sounds nor makes them robot.
The sound quality is fantastic, the audio is recorded with a 48kg/24 bit of noise proportion from 80DB signal, 144 db dynamic range, and a frequency response from 20 hits to 20kg. You can manually set the sound level, but there is also an easy built -in smart lameer to save your audio from the top. In addition, the second protective track is recorded in a low (-12 DB) volume to ensure that nothing is wasted.
The transmission limit is up to 100 meters without obstacles, and 10 meters with obstacles. The connection test was solid, and I never experienced any problem with any of the four mic configurations. The battery life is up to four mic per mic, with a total of 30 hours available with charging case. It is average, and for most conditions there is plenty of battery.
Should I buy buoy magic?
Buy it if…
If not buy it …
Boya Magic: Consider this too
How did I experience Boya Magic
- I experienced it in all four structures
- I used it connected to multiple devices
- I experienced all its features
I tested the magic in all four settings in several weeks: lavaleer, on -camera, handheld, and desktop mic. I also linked Mike to my smartphone, computer and camera so that I could evaluate the performance on the board in real world conditions.
I was sent a full cut, which includes USB-C, electricity and 3.5 mm TRS recipients. I recorded audio in different environments to see how much the Mix AI was canceled and without the cancellation of the noise. I also used the Boy Central app to access the settings and to assess the overall ease of use.
