JBL Charge 6: Two -minute Review
JBL Charge 6 Portable Wireless Speaker is not closely that the outgoing JBL charge is as close to 5 as it may appear before. Oh, he is closely associated with physical terms-but in charge 6, the best Bluetooth speakers have included a very good new specification upgrade in an attempt to maintain the charging position as a leading mid-price option, as well as a very useful car handle.
Therefore, an impressive frequency response to 45 watts and 54hz-20KHz, JBL charge 6 can be wired through USB-C so as to supply real high razor audio. It will last for 24 hours with the same charge – if you don’t mind making some boss reaction – and you can work as a charger for your smartphone.
Two JBL charge 6 units can create a stereo pair, and they can contact any and a cost -driven speaker of the speaker system as a speaker system. An IP68 rating and an expected strong standard of construction and ending means that it is happy in any environment.
And in practice, the charge 6 is a capable and serious about which matters with your audio files. More than Bluetooth, it is detailed with an excellent and equal measurement, which has a good tonel balance and a largely frequency response. Through the USB-C, some HI-like equipment produces additional dynamics, insights and rhythm contradictions.
In fact, it can only be bothered by reducing the volume to just the ‘background’ level – when you try to listen quietly, it is directly and extensively misleading nature. This thing is made for entertainment.
So yes, the ‘charge 6’ just came out a bit more than ‘charging 5 +1’, and it is as good as at that size, at this price, now.

JBL Charge 6 Review: Features
- 45 watt power
- 54hz – 20KHz frequency response
- 24 -hour battery can usually be extended, up to 28 hours
When the matter is of a wireless connection, the charge 6 uses Bluetooth 5.4 (good) and is compatible with SBC and AAC codecs (less good, but normal).
Unlike many nominal rivals, although JBL has a USB-C slot that can be used to charge data as well as to charge its battery, which means that if you connect it to a suitable source, 24 bit/96 kg of high-rise audio is very good.
The battery itself will last for about 24 24 hours (unless you are blew up the volume at all), and if you change the ‘playtime boost’, this number increases by 28 hours instead of a low frequency presence.
This is mainly until the battery life comes to a portable speaker – definitely for speakers who are really easy to take around.
Even the JBL will work as a Power Bank, so you can connect your phone to the USB-C port if pushing it-but of course, will, in charge 6 will eat in its battery life. From ‘flat’ to ‘complete’, by the way, it takes three hours quite comfortable.
It doesn’t matter how audio information makes it on the plane, it includes 45 watts class D power, running a 20 -mm Twitter and Restrick mid/bass driver. It is mainly a speaker setup like JBL Philip 7, but in all cases with large speakers and more power – beautiful.
Combined with the passive radiator at each end, JBL claims that the arrangement is good for a frequency response to 54Hz up to 20 kg.
JBL Charge 6 Review: Sound Quality
- The big and panchayi (but also capable and detailed) voice
- Worth the major volume
- Loses interest at the lower level
You think you know what you are getting, sound wise, when you see the charge 6. And in some ways, you’ll be fine-give it a series of outcousses. The way you move And JBL provides it with scale and sufficient substance. His voice is big and weighty, and to ensure that the rhythm with real positiveness is expressed, and it has a lot of drive and speed.
But the charge 6 is not a two -sided device. It retrieves a lot of details, more than able to handle temporary or minor events in the recording, and is equally expert in describing the variations of harmony as it is a wide dynamic stroke of ‘calm’ and ‘loud’. Certainly, it is a enthusiastic and quite great listener – but it focuses as much as it attacks on the recording light and shadow.
Its frequency response is quite. Certainly, there is a slight skip to the bottom, but this is not a fatal thing. And its tonal balance is just as well decided, so there is a crisp on the upper end to balance the lower frequencies-and in the midwife, the JBL shows the role and technique of a singer.
Switch to 24 Bit/96 KHZ FLAC file The past is a violent animal Through Montreal, the charge 6 was presented through the USB-C, and the presentation steps are underway. The sound stage now opens up further, the description level enjoys a huge extent, and each element of the recording makes the amount available on the highest total.
The dynamic headroom increases, the unity of the frequency limit is made more clear, and the control of the low frequency activity makes the positive and clear sound from the rhythm.
It is worth noting that many of these complex aspects of music are reduced if you decide to listen to charging 6 at the level of ‘modest’ or below the volume.
The JBL is not particularly tolerant of behavior as a ‘background listening’ device, and a direct amount of direct and claiming it leaves it in situations. No one keeps the baby in the corner, so it looks …
JBL Charge 6 Overview: Design
- IP68 has been classified for dust and waterproof
- Seven finishes, and useful Carry handle
- Compactly on 229 x 99 x 94 mm
In broader words, this is the usual JBL charge business here. The speaker is almost cylindrical, which is a flat area below to rest. Almost every end of the SL cylinder has some strong rubber features to protect the disabled radiator (and instead of worrying ‘!’ Branding) at each end.
Some physical controls are arranged above, a USB-C slot in the rear, and the whole thing is wrapped in hardware fabric.
The design changes to the outgoing charge 5 are very few – but they are all important. Those rubber end hats are now stronger than ever. The material that almost Almost covers the entire speaker is now 100 % recycled material. There are two rows in the operation and even more ease.
The IP rating has increased from a highly acceptable IP67 to IP68 – which indicates that the charge 6 is practically irreparable. And now is a flexible, branded car handle that fits the top of the speaker and means it is more easily portable than ever before.
The choice of seven different finals runs from business such as black to chemo number JBL calls ‘squad’. It does not matter that the color you choose, though, will be carefully designed and beautifully built by portable speaker.
JBL Charge 6 Review: Usage and Setup
- JBL ‘Portable’ Control app
- Some physical control
- Orakaste and stereo pair
Two rows of physical control over the charge 6 cover, play/down, play/pause, power on/off, Bluetooth pair and Aurocaste pair-as long as the other speaker in your potential group is operating, there is no practical range of the number of speakers in which you may join together or your space quantity.
Every control is reliable, and is very positive in its process – and the ability to connect two Bluetooth devices at a time is also very welcome.
The company’s ‘portable’ control app is also a useful small number. This is the place where you can create a stereo pair with another charge 6, check multiple EQ predators or set up something of your own, check the battery life, and turn on ‘Playtime Boost’.
It is a clean and stable app that is above such a thing with some rival portable speaker.
JBL Charge 6 Review: Price
If you want to listen to it background, see somewhere else for your Bluetooth speaker, and spend less money when you are on it-Flip Flip JBL 7 will work well.
But if you decide to do it your job, JBL is more than sound capabilities to justify its asking price in charge 6 – and the fact is that it is so well -made, so hard and very useful only seals the deal.

How did I experience JBL Charge 6
- Tested more than a week
- Tested at different world locations
- Wireless and wired associated with multiple file types
I connect JBL Charge 6 with Bluetooth with an Apple iPhone 14 Pro, an Apple MacBook Pro and a FIIO JM21 digital audio player.
I also connected it to the laptop through the USB-C, where the Kolbari software on the machine allowed the charge 6 to play the high-resid content.
I heard several types of music and many types of music inside and out of the house. And I did all this for work week (and sometimes even weekends).
