Hamsteday V3 Ultra: two -minute review
The new smartphone stabilizer, istedey V3 Ultra, is the latest in the long -running range of manufacturer’s mobile gymables. Like most of this type of product, tie your phone to the arm will keep its movements smooth and level when you are shooting the material-but here, the most important sales point is the built-in-in-AISSSted tracking functionality.
Isteady V3 Ultra comes with a tracking module that is able to point to a permanent tracking article, using a built -in 2MP camera, no matter how much it goes ahead. The V3 Ultra handle has 360 degrees, so, when its built -in mini tripod is arranged, it can track the topic even if they turn around several times. And, unlike some of the other tracking modules, it is not only capable of following human faces and bodies, but also other items.
I should also note that not only the above mentioned when Hamm captures the material using his own camera app, but also applies the first party and third party camera apps such as zoom, tetroat, and Instagram. And, because the tracking module can be indicated forward or backwards, so it will work with both the main rear camera (language) and front feeing camera of any smartphone.
While testing istedey V3 Ultra, I found this tracking clear standout feature. It is also accurate and reliable, and amazingly complicated.
I managed to use Jimble’s Joyce Stick to adjust my position in the frame manually, and the module will continue to track me while keeping me in a new position in the frame dead center, which is wonderful for those times that you want to use the rule of the third and keep yourself away from the center.
I should tell you that you can also track us using software through the Joey app – but it will keep the articles at the center all the time. I preferred the module -based tracking capacity and adaptation. And as a feature of an excellent bonus, the AI tracker module is doubled as a cool, hot, and neutral tons of selection as well as a completely filled light with the choice of adjustable brightness.
There is also a lot of love for this stabilizer besides tracking capabilities. The device’s compact, folding design is nothing that I have never seen on the limits of rivals or Homs, but it is easy to come out and configure. Built -in mini tripod, which contains three metal rods that are pulled out of the handle, is strong, and a standard tripod thread mount on the base means that you can connect the whole thing with a strong size tripod or so you wish.
An expansion stick, which is hidden in the handle, provides additional access to about 20 cm on the jumble arm. This is useful if you want to fit more in the frame using isteady V3 Ultra Handheld.
I am also a huge fan of removable remote control module, which comes with a 1.22 -inch touch screen. I first encountered one of them, the Hhum Istadi M7, which is a large and price smartphone stabilizer, and was delighted to see this concept by moving this concept into a more portable and affordable model.
The wireless range in the controller is up to 10 meters / 33 feet, and its Joyce Stick, buttons, and touch screen allows you to adjust the gymnasium arm angles, change settings, and start recording from distance. The screen also provides a direct view from the camera of the tracker module, so you can also compile the tracking articles from afar.
In my time with Hym ISTD V3 Ultra, I have only faced a major problem: The sound from the Jimble’s motor has been picked up by the mic of my iPhone 13. As a result, all these videos have a quiet, but notable, background noise that I recorded using the built -in mic. When I recorded using DJI MIC 3 instead, the noise was not heard.
This is a disturbing problem, but it is not special to this model. I went back and re -tested the Hom Istede M7 and Insta 360 Flow Pro 2 with the same phone, and also raised the noise on these gymnasiums. Nevertheless, if you are going to rely on your smartphone built -in mic to record videos using ISTDV3 ultra, be aware that you are likely to hear this sound in the background. I have added a short video clip below so you can hear yourself.
Although this is really just a big problem in which I have istedey V3 ultra, it is quite noteworthy. If you are using an external microphone for blogging, this will not be a problem for you. If you are fully relying on the mic of your phone, you would like to see somewhere else.
The only other possible flaw with the V3 Ultra is that it uses a standard grip on the arm rather than a magnetic grip on the recent DJI and Insta 360 smartphone jambles. This is a priority thing, however – some can prefer grip in the gymable arm, as it reduces the number of ingredients required.
All of them, I am usually affected by the Homstedey V3 ultra. Its standout tracking skills and remote control currently make it the best smaller stabilizer – though I expect the DJI and Insta 360 to offer strong competition in the near future.
Hamstedy V3: Price and Availability
- 9 169 / £ 169
- Black and white color complement is available
- Is now available to order
Istedy V3 has MSRP of MS 169 / £ 169 / AU $ 299 in Ultra and is now available to order at Amazon or Hohim online store. I have also been told by Ham’s PR Representative that it will be sold on Best Best from September 14, 2025. The Australian launch will be followed by this – expect to update this review after it is confirmed.
Given the spirits and features of the gymble, which feels like a competitive price for me. In comparison, Insta 360 Flu is currently retail at 9 159.99 / £ 144.99 / AU $ 199.99, and DJI Osmo Mobile is 7p $ 149 / £ 135 / AU $ 219, so you will pay a little premium to make it worthwhile V3 ultra.

I used the Hom Istadi V3 ultra for a week, examined both of them, examined both handheld and set up its built -in on mini tripod.
