Introduction
The Redmi is the latest repetition of 15 5 g Xumi bread and butter model. The humble number has been an important place in the company’s lineup since 2013 and has been a strong contender in this segment despite the changing landscape over the years.
This year’s model is turning 7000mAh SIC into battery, which supports 33W fast charging as well as 18W reverse wired charging. The phone also gets the Snapdragon 6S General 3 chip set, which technically is not much better than the Snapdragon 4 General 2 on the previous generation Redmi 13 5G, regardless of what the name can suggest, but then more on it. The phone also gets up to 8GB of memory, up to 256GB storage, and a new 144Hz display.

Inboxing
Despite the cheapest phone prices, the Redmi comes with a generous package. Inside it, you will find a phone, a cable 33W fast charger, and protective case for the phone. In a world where spending thousands of dollars on the phone you don’t even get a charger, it is practically pleasant.
