Why can you trust the Tech Radar

We spend hours in testing every product or service that we review, so you can be sure you are buying the best. Learn more about how we test.

I have used Synology for a while, personally and professionally. I have also worked with disk stations, original basestions, and many other NAS devices. As someone who crowded many businesses, clients and a ton of storage at any time, even with tremendous internal storage on my basic laptop, gaining more access to others, and all around me is something easy and helpful about outdoor drive, cloud storage.

But, as many of you have seen, subscriptions are getting ridiculous these days. Everything has moved towards subscriptions, and with that, when you want to expand further, the cost will continue to heaven. That is why I started paying attention to Synology a few years ago, recognizing that some things I can put on the SSD, regardless of what company I am with, if I am home or away, or does not matter, I still wanted my daily workflow.

At any time, it is difficult for any of my clients to pass by numerous documents, photos, videos, arigram, and so on, without clutter in my internal storage or without rotating through several external hard drives.

I prepare my machine on my machine without rubbing the Finder (on my Mac) to capture my desired file. And, how fast I move these days, I need such flexibility. This is where the basement plus comes. It has got some key upgrades from the original newborn, first and most importantly, it doubled from 4TB to 8TB storage.

Synology Beshan Plus: Inboxing and First Feedback

The establishment of inboxing and basetation plus could not be easy. I opened the box, chosen a place in my home office where I wanted to survive, and plugged it into desk setup with a battery backup from my Encker Power Station. Finally, to ensure that I have the best download and upload speed possible, I plug an Ethernet cable from Scientific Basement Plus to my network switch, which then goes to my TP link Decco XE75 Pro System. A power cable, an Ethernet cable, just.

After that, I jumped through the IP address and web interface and compiled the basement plus and began to set up compatible folders, joint folders, a plax server, backup (sooner reviews) and some more. I also added a right angle USB-C adapter, but after that. All around, this setup took the matter of minutes, and maybe it took me a long time to manage another thing in the cable, which in my desk setup’s monster he had actually arranged himself to establish himself.

Basitation Plus has a sleek fog plastic shell with its modern and clean design. It gets, and it fits with my office setup. I don’t think I need to hide it, so I didn’t. This is a prominent place in my setup, but I barely felt it, which is excellent.

Even when it is running and running, I can’t hear it at all. The only reason I know is continuing, in addition to accessing your files, is due to status lights.

The only ports here are Ethernet Port, a USB-C port, and power port. Packing a lot of power in a simple package, the basement plus keeps it easy.

    Synology Beshan Plus: In use

At the time of writing this review, I have set up a Basement Plus for 75 days at my home office. At this time, Bettation Plus has been my basic storage solution for many clients with whom I work, for all the files, content and assets I have created for every client, as well as working files as well as the clients I received from the clients. All of these basatories are stored on Plus and are accessed by the files/finder integration or from many of my devices from web or mobile apps.

Thanks to Ethernet Port, I have not felt any time or problems with network speed, and because my entire workplace has been backed up with the Power Station from the Ankar, I don’t worry about losing any data. Even in the power outage, I could have access to my files locally from my computer on local Wi -Fi or Ethernet. As an alternative, if my internet line is still active but the power is finished, my whole home battery backup system will start, and I can access files from somewhere.

If you do not have a battery backup, though, this is not the end of the world. If you have the main client files in the Bestation Plus, you would like to make a plan in the event of a power outage.

Another important method I use Bestsion Plus is to offload files from any drives I am working with. Occasionally, I have a character where I need to transmit data from external drives or SD cards. With the Bettation Plus’ USB-C port, I can plug directly into the SSD at this port, or I can use the SD card reader with the USB-C port and can access the SD card directly through my Baitation Plus.

The benefit of this, of course. That is, I will never have to take internal storage, nor do I need to file files, so that they can upload them to the cloud service, then share it. Instead, I can plug, choose, where to move the files, such as the first joint client folder, and then I’m good to go. I can walk, work on something else, etc.

Another thing that is extremely helpful in addition to the basement, mainly when used as a business storage tool, has the ability to harmonize in a variety of different ways, which has many different servers. I work in Google Drive, dropbox, and others daily.

For these folders that I want to make sure I don’t lose anything, or that I need, without jumping and jumping into the folders every day, logging in to accounts and trying to remember where I have every file. Instead, I set up cloud sync priorities so that my folder structure on my basement pulse will automatically be in harmony with some folders, download other folders in a way, and auto -upload others – make my file management a breeze. Sorting something from the beginning makes it feel that I have an admin that helps me manage my file management, without the need for an admin or monthly subscription cost.

    Synology Beshan Plus: Final Decision

All of all, Synology beastation Plus is a welcome upgrade by the previous model. I do not even go deep on the Plex integration and other TLC updates that have synology. This is the best solution to a ridiculous monthly charge if you need safe storage tarbuts and do not want to pay any ridiculous monthly charge to access your files on the cloud storage service. Power users may still need something more like a disk station, but this is an amazing option for small businesses, freelancers, contract workers and partial boys like me.
