I am in the process of reviewing the new Panasonic Z 95 BO LED, and at first glance, it is a very impressive TV, and it is one that leads to OLED technology at the next level through its new primary RGB tandem structure OLED display panel.

A huge advantage of Z95B’s new OLED panel, which is by company sources from LG, has increased the brightness. The Z -95B measurement brightness is on the same level as the brightest examples of the best TV, and it is one of the brightest O LEDs TV TVS ever.

High brightness is a factor that auxy in the impressive image of Z95B. Unfortunately, you will not know that if you just want to use its filmmaker, you usually suggest that we usually provide the most accurate image quality on all kinds of TV.

    By the numbers

    Fig. 1 out of 1

    (1) The picture on the Panasonic Z95B (left) looks particularly less bright than the LG G5 (right), which both are set on TV filmmaker. (2) The surface of the brightness is equally matching when the luminous setting of Z95B is increased, but this adjustment comes at the cost of image accuracy.(Image Credit: Future)(Image Credit: Future)

The peak of Z95B in its default filmmaker mode is amazingly low. And it is with both standard dynamic range (SDR) and high dynamic range sources. Just how little? I will offer some numbers from Z95B’s initial measurement.

On 10 % HDR White Window Pattern, Z 95B measured 992 nuts, and 347 nets measured on Phil Screen (100 %) HDR White Window Pattern. Switching to standard dynamic limits, Z 95B measured 78.8 nets on 10 % pattern, and 78 nits on full screen pattern.

To put these numbers in context, LGG5, a TV that uses the same primary RGB tandem structure OLED display panel as Z95B, manages 2,268 and 331 nuts on the same HDR brightness tests, respectively, 327 and 286 on the same SDR tests.

In filmmakers’ mode, while eliminating these numbers, the LG G5 offers an HDR image that is twice as bright from the Panasonic Z95B, and the G5 image is four times bright by SDR sources.

This is a significant difference, and it really appears when the two compares along the TV, as my Tikader’s partner James Davidson made his Panasonic and LG flagship OLED TV. James set both TVs on his default filmmaker settings, and when he saw reference clips from 4K Blu -ray, he made this photo “much bright and more dynamic at G5, with many wonderful whites and highlights.” The image of Z95B, on the contrary, “was very accurate, but dimmed.”

Another TV test Tech Radar recently organized a similarly organized in which Panasonic Z95B was found in a shining loss compared to its flagship OLED TV competition. In our flagship OLED TV show down, we compared 2025 models to Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic.

In this test, most non-expert panels were usually affected with Z95B- and Sony Bravyia 8 II-with a panelist, “both Panasonic and Sony look extremely diluted,” Samsung Samsung S95F and LG G5 compared.

Promoting brightness – but is it worth it?

Panasonic Z 95B (very right) usually does not rent other models in our flagship O LED TV group tests, though it is second after the Samsung S95F (away) in the Black Level/Dark Movie viewing section. (Image Credit: Warner Bruce / Future)

In our recent Panasonic Z 95B vs. LGG5 O LED TV comparisons, Z95B luminous (brightness) adjustment, which was set at 70 by default in filmmaker’s mode, increased its maximum sequence after initial comparison. On this setting, Z95B’s image looks just as bright than G5, but it has also been observed that the brightness is at the cost of the image accuracy.

To confirm how bright with the adjustment in the light of the Panasonic Z 95B photo in filmmaker’s mode, I have taken another measure of measurement. In this case, the HDR peak of the Z 95B rose up to 2,240 nets – almost the Approximately at the same level with the default filmmaker mode settings in the LG G5.

Well, so can be just as bright as the Z95B G5. But at what cost? As part of my second round of measurement, I compared the tracking of Z 95B’s EOTF (Gamma equivalent to HDR) in the filmmaker, which set the light 70 (default) and 100 (maximum).

With maximum light, Z95B’s EOTF tracking was especially less accurate, which is shown on high delta-e-values (what is shown on a margin of error between the test pattern’s source and the screen) in full brightness range. The default 70 sequence, on the contrary, mostly shown to the accurate EOTF tracking and quite low Delta-E values.

For me, she confirms the loss of the accuracy of the measuring picture when my partner saw Z95B with its light setting when the G5 increased to better match.

Does this mean that the picture of Panasonic OLED doesn’t look good while walking over the brightness? Not necessarily, and it is fully possible that Z95B has performed better by improving its light setting at Tikadar’s flagship OLED TV show down by default.

However, the measurement reflects the limits that showcase the filmmaker, such as the prescriptions, which were created to provide the audience for a simple way to achieve an accurate image, which is similar to what a film director has approved in the Mastering Sweet, fighting against the new world of super bright TV.

The filmmaker is something I still recommend to use, but do not expect your precious new TV to reduce its full brightness, and be prepared to dim the lights for the film time.
