Cherry Xtrfy MX 3.1: A minute review
Cherry Xtrfy MX 3.1 is a wired mechanical keyboard that has the simplest goal of providing excellent gaming performance.
Its sleek appearance has been obtained through low profile caps with their prominent indicators, and despite being made from ABS, they look and feel like their PBT counterparts.
In addition, very bright RGB lighting looks amazingly on the white way. However, metal chassis looks less impressive, which is a bit cheaper.
Fortunately, it feels more solid than it appears – as the whole board for this matter is equal to what the best gaming keyboard offers. As a result, it is reasonably heavy, but not so.
Separate USB cable premiums also feel. It is hanging that makes it more flexible, and it is too long, which makes it easier to root on different setups.
The software that participates in MX 3.1 is quite limited than other gaming keyboards, with only a handful of shortcuts of reproductive options and a basic macro facility. There is no doubt that they will disappoint the concert after the deep powers of specialization.
Playing with LM, MX2A switch MX 3.1 are much heavier than you expect. They feel quite clicking with the least naming, which makes them feel a bit tight when they hammer.
The keys to this aspect cannot be helped with a short journey. Thankfully, those indicators on the Ki caps are comfortable and safe, which make them ideal for both gaming and typing.
I also praised the space of the round back edge, which softens the effect when hitting you. This is especially useful in viewing the set angle of the layout: instead of fool out feet, the MX 3.1 comes with two sets of these pins with different heights. It doesn’t matter what set I installed, the setting always seemed very flat for my choice. Combined with a thick body, it means that after long sessions, MX 3.1 can be restless.
Its price is slightly down that you can expect from the wired mechanical gaming keyboard, but today’s market has many large value models that offer low features and strong performance.

Cherry Xtrfy MX 3.1 Overview: Price and Availability
- 9 129 (approximately £ 100 / AU $ 200)
- Now available in three color visits
- Light below the average price
MX 3.1 costs $ 129 (about £ 100 / / AU $ 200) and is now available in black, white and pink routes, though the latter is currently only available in Asia.
This is a slightly low average price for wired mechanical keyboards of the entire size, but there are many wired and even wireless alternatives that are not good for less, if not good.
For example, take Rochat Magma, which is our choice as the best gaming keyboard for people in the budget. It may have membrane exposure instead of a mechanical switch and may have low steeller blood quality exposure, but its performance is fast and accurate and has a lower price tag compared to MX 3.1.
Even wireless Monjik art is cheaper than 60 ultra -MX 3.1, though not so much. This board supports both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth contacts, and has features of TMR analog switch that allow more customization. I also liked it for both games and types.

Cherry Xtrfy MX 3.1 Overview: Design and Features
- Solid and strong construction
- No folding toe
- Limited software
MX 3.1 has an easy -to -yet -cheek design. The entire board manufacturer contains a tear in the metal chassis and the holes of the spit, all of which include some interest. However, this frame eventually looks a bit cheaper and leads to a second round of amazing gaming periphery.
On the other hand, very bright and dynamic RGB lighting, is amazing and still tasteful. It certainly attracts a lot of attention, especially on the white model, which instead of well.
The quality of construction is also very good, the whole unit feels strong and heavy, it looks more. He is a metal chassis solid as you may wish, and so are plastic, which means that MX 3.1 should be tried.
KE caps look beautiful thanks to their low profile and deep indications. Despite being made from ABS, they feel every premium like PBT types. They also feel very smooth under the finger gesture.

Their overall size is quite small than other mechanical keyboards, which makes the entire MX 3.1 feel more compact. However, it is a shame that there is no volume dial, in which the F-Qatar shortcut relys on its place for this function.
Instead of foldable foot, MX 3.1 comes with two sets of two pins of different lengths that enter the back end of the board to adjust the angle. Although this method offers a better basis than argument, it is less sophisticated and more time -consuming solution.
In addition, even the long pins are not so long that I can create an angle that I was completely comfortable. This problem has been promoted because of a thick chassis – and lack of wrist support – which means my wrists had to bend over far beyond my choice.
MX 3.1 comes with a long, looted USB cable, which enables it for different setup and rooting options. The central location of the USB-C port also helps these aspects.
MX 3.1, Cherry Utility Software is quite wrecking compared to rival tools. Each key can be re -configured with someone else, but only a handful of system and media shortcuts are available to assign, while the macro -creator is very basic. More performance opportunities will be disappointed.

Cherry Xtrfy MX 3.1 Review: Performance
- Heavy switches than expected
- Is good for typing
- The considering space bar design
The MX2A silent red linear switches are quite clicking with a slight naming, which makes them feel tight when hitting hard. They are also heavy to suppress, which is the most notable when using WASD keys for sports movement. This resistance is somewhat amazing, a short journey of the keys itself.
This short journey makes MX 3.1 the best of typing L -Great, however, like the aforementioned cap inspiration, as they provide both security and feedback at the time of touch typing. Their low profile also helps to compensate for the entire unit’s inclination, which can allow my fingers to be relatively flat while dancing around the keys, which makes me feel more comfortable.
Another aspect of MX 3.1 that I have appreciated is soft curved letters on the back edge of the space bar, as it is affected by cushion thumb. It is a shame that these curves are limited to the center rather than spreading the entire edge, but I still appreciate its involvement.

Design and features
Despite some of the history design design of the metal frame, MX 3.1 is beautiful. It is also surprisingly made for high quality, though it is influenced by the software.

Efficiency
The switches are much heavier than you expect, but typing is satisfactory. Angle deficiency can cause some aergonomic problems.

Overall
The MX 3.1 does nothing to set the gaming keyboard world. Although it is solid in some cases, it is very expensive for what it offers.

How did I experience Cherry XTRFM X 3.1
- Tested for a week
- Used to gaming and working
- Experience of extensive gaming keyboard
I tested MX 3.1 for about a week, during which I used it to gaming and working.
I play Counter strike 2Which is a great test for keyboards, which is speeding its demands and the need for its exact inputs. I also played games that use more of the whole setting, such as Abyutic factor.
I’ve been gaming more than a decade, and in the meantime I have experienced a wide row of gaming keyboards. I have experienced a wide range of them as well as other Cherry XTRFY products.
