The GPT -5 has recently faced a wave of criticism, both everyday users and reviewers like our own Calvin Wankhede here. Android Authority. Most of this opinion focuses on the new model with more curtains and less personality. Openai immediately responded by solving performance, personality, and use limitations – significantly improve overall experience. Now, a refreshing things even improve, at least Chat GPT besides users.

Openi has greatly enhanced the functionality of GPT5 by adding more methods: auto, sharp, thinking, and supportive of thinking. Personally, I understand the GPT-5 better than most alternatives in certain scenarios, though your preference may vary. I support its comprehensive, ground accent from the bottom, which feels less psychological than GPT -4O.
Of course, not everyone agrees. If you still miss old models or are not affected by the latest upgrade, the good news is that multiple heritage models are once again available:
- GPT-4O: Previous default model, designed for general use.
- GPT-4.1: Salt better for specific, detailed questions, though a total of 4O overall.
- O3: Prior to deep questions, philosophical reflection and more for more.
- O4-mini: A thinking model like O3 but easy to better for simple questions.
In fact, I think this is a big move and makes it clear that the open, at least, is trying to listen to its customers. Although the GPT -5 will continue to improve in the coming weeks and months, more models (and the flexibility they provide) is not a bad thing.
