Jeffrey Hunton, a scientist, a former Google employee, and widely recognized the ‘AI’s Godfather’, has widely recognized a phase career to criticize their god children. And now he has taken all this one step further, and insisting that we need “Ai mothers”, AI is not auxiliary.
Addressing the AI4 conference in Las Vegas this week, and as previously reported by Forbes, Hunton once again raised the alarm on the arrival of the artificial general intelligence, which he now believes will be imagined in a few years, thinking that the Open CEO will be with the CEO.
A few orbit around the sun was once thought that once the pace was that Hinton was forced to argue that we needed anything other than AI assistants.
You can like
“We need AI mothers instead of AI auxiliary,” Hunton said. This idea, Hunton, has said that AI is a kind of protection system with “maternity epidemic”. However, mothers usually do not harm their children and generally protect them.
If the AI system such as chatigat, cloud AI, and Gemini are really smarter than us in a few years, they feel as if they are their job to find our job so that they can prevent us from harming us or society.
Hunton, who recently won the Nobel Prize and helped the development of the Technical Foundation that made it all possible, left Google in 2023 and immediately began to warn people about a serious future. Imagine that parents deny their child, and you think.
I don’t think Hunton has been closed with AI. Nevertheless, he cannot stop talking about it, and seems to be recognizing his ability, but it is also clear that it frightens it.
Earlier he told The New York Times in 2023 that
- Growing competition is causing less cautious style
- They mainly noted the floods of fake online content
- He warned about AI that we are taking all the jobs we don’t want to do (it is taking others too)
- He is worried about AI who can do both programs and then run programming (a very dangerous shutdown loop)
- And he was talking about AT immediately AI
Therefore, believe that the day is approaching now, but is there a mother found that we need or need it? I don’t think so.
In the minute we train “Mother’s Dispersion” in AI, she will start working like a mother and will slip into the strange valley where you are talking to a program or someone, you can’t tell it anymore. Mother’s instincts mean warmth, sympathy, care, understanding and love. I don’t want these things to do with any.
I think what we need, though, for AI’s assistants, it is meant to understand what a human being means. Tell me another way, if AI chat boats can at least understand humanity, they can serve us better. They can also recognize our trend of confidence and probably eventually stop presenting us with false statements and fake friendship and interest.
We should not be out of our highly intelligent AI system. Instead, we need utility and confidence, the ability to fulfill our desires in a way that improves our interests.
The last thing we need is AI full of maternity instincts, which then chooses its choice and, when things get upset, insist, “Well, love, mother knows better.”
