Poko has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Poko M7 Plus 5G. This is the latest phone of the M -series and makes the M6 Plus a success, which debuted in August 2024.
The Poko M7 Plus has a large battery of 7,000 mAh silicon carbon with 33W charging and 18W reverse charging support. According to the recent trend of brands containing “slimest” phones in the specific category, Poko claims that the M7 Plus is 7,000 mAh battery thin handset, which is only 8.4 mm.

Poko’s new M -series phone features a 6.9 -inch full HD+ LCD, which refreshes 144Hz. It has 550 nets of peak brightness, and the corning is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This display has a cartoon hole cutout for the camera in front of 8 MP.
The M7 Plus is powered by an octal Corps Snapdragon 6 S. General 3 SOC, which is made up of 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Thankfully, the phone gets up to 2TB of microSD slot to expand the storage.
It has a dual rear camera set up with 50 MP primary sensor and an unknown secondary unit. You find one of the two features of AI such as AI dynamic shot, AI Arizer, and AI Sky Replacement. The phone operates Hyper OS based on Android 15 and promises that it will receive two years OS updates with four years of security patch. Google Gemini is also offering on the Poko device.

The Poko M7 Plus 5G offers an IP 64 rating, side -mounted fingerprint scanner, an IR Blaster, and its weight 217g. It is available for shopping in India in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome silver colors. Prices start from INR 13,999 ($ 160) for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/128 GB variations cost INR 14,999 ($ 170). The phone will be sold in India from August 19.
