IOS 18 introduced some new designs that were not good (including the notorious change in the photo app). And surprisingly, it removed an important button from the basic calculator app, the move made people feel bad enough to guarantee the entire column of the Atlantic, which was called.
Now, Apple has apparently heard. The iOS brings back the 26C/AC button, which frustrated some people, especially those who used the calculator app more often.
Basically, with iOS 26Apple is trying to please both worlds. In fact, the calculator app now has both the back space and the C/AC. The backpack key number sits in the top left of the key, and it deletes a digit at a time. The second button with it is the +/- key iOS 18.
Now, this button has been replaced by the traditional C/AC button. When a number is a part of a calculation, pressing the c. This is useful if you mistakenly type a large number of big addicts or in the wire of something else.
When a number is not type (if the app is showing zero), the button turns into AC. If you tap the AC, this will clean all parts of the current calculation.

However, the negative operator (+/-key, which is no longer there) has not been removed. He was moved to the bottom left position. And this change has a lot of meaning, as many people do not need to calculate a negative number in daily life.
The negative operator replaced the button that was used to replace the calculator methods (between basic, scientific and mathematical notes). Now, this function has been moved as a new toolbar button on the exact top right of the screen.
iOS 26 Here and there is a major update in addition to these small opportunities. It brings a huge design that has liquid glass and plenty of new features. Right now, the OS is in its beta testing phase, with a stable rollout expected in September.
I think it was nice to see Apple listening to the feedback. Returning the C/AC button makes the calculator more practical to use daily. Such small changes may make a huge difference, especially for people like me who use the app a lot. That’s very nice iOS 26 Re -design with smart fixes, which in fact makes life easier.
