In the past few years, I have well tested more than a dozen phone service providers at different pricing locations. Although I regularly recommend some career, what if you are looking for the cheapest service without sacrificing too much in terms of quality and features? The good news is that there are many powers.
Below, I will focus only on five carriers about which I think I offer a solid mix of pricing, reputation and features. These are not necessarily an absolute cheap carrier, but these are the cheapest that I really recommend Recommend if you still want a service that comes closer to the big boys.
Which of these budget careers do you have the best?

If you are looking for cheap phone service without a massive compromise, American mobile is easily one of my top recommendations. There is a lot to like about this career, including aggressive pricing, wide network support, and more.
Here are just a few biggest highlights:
- The projects are less than $ 8 a month for 2GB, unlimited options are less than $ 25 a month – or even less for those wishing to pay in front of a year.
- Taxes and fees have been included in advertising prices.
- The ability to use these three major networks (T -Mobile, Verizon, AT&T), which allows you to run two networks on the same device.
- Selected projects include additional, additional cellular smart watch service such as international calling and roaming.
I have used this career over and off for years, and when I think they talk about new features and promotions, they sometimes advertise excessively, this is eventually one of the better prepaid options for those involved in the budget. The fact is that selected projects include high priority pace, which is equivalent to postpaid, does not hurt.

The Telo does not offer special facilities or extras, but it makes it easy to customize what you are getting. If you want a nun Furlus service for children, the elderly, or those who do not use too much data, there are very cheap choices.
The biggest highlights of the carrier are here:
- You will find a T -Mobile network on a part of the price, though it is a low priority, which is equivalent to T -Mobile Accessories.
- You can customize your plan conversation, text, and data allotment to best fit your needs. Just need data? You can get 1GB for at least $ 5 without a conversation or text, or you can only add unlimited conversations and text to $ 4.
- Pricing is $ 5 to $ 25, with a “unlimited” project you have 35GB speed data after 256KB speed (mainly enough to send MMS/RCS).
Think of a training wheel about Telo, or an option for people who mostly use Wi -Fi. Before I personally used the Tello as a Starter Service for my two children, they graduates with heavy projects more features.

Thanks to Ryan Reynolds with Ryan Ryndas, Ryan Rynda is probably one of the most famous prepaid brands there. This provider is owned by T -Mobile and runs on unrelated networks.
Here are the biggest highlights of the Mint Mobile:
- Exactly, like the Tello, you will find a T -Mobile network, but once again you will get more than the low priority data rate that you will get from Tob Mobile with a mid -distance or more postpaid service.
- When the annual payment is made, the projects are only of the data from 5GB to unlimited.
- All projects offer free calling from Mexico, Canada, and the UK from the United States, with optional international roaming packages available. The unlimited project also includes free roaming in Canada.
- There are really unlimited data in the unlimited project, unlike Tello. After 35 GB data is over, you can see a further decline in the crowded hours, but there is no solid cut off.
In addition to testing the mint here for a few months, I have not used it long -term. Nevertheless, if you don’t mind paying annual payment, this is a decent alternative to our mobile or tale.
Helium Mobile

Helium Mobile is not a carrier that I often recommend, mostly because there are many other options that are usually more meaningful. Still, it stands for cheapness, to a great extent because it’s the only carrier there with free planning. Yes, you have read it correctly.
Although helium offers numerous projects, its free option is the most focused. Here are some other highlights that are noted:
- Like most of the careers in this list, Helim T runs on mobile with less preferred data, which is like T -Mobile Accessories.
- Planning Prices Free (with 3GB data) are up to $ 30 for unlimited data (well, really 36 GB, but you know – marketing).
- With data allotment from 3GB to unlimited (36GB cap), there are also children up to $ 5 to $ 15 a month.
I have experienced both free and unlimited projects of helium and I have done a lot of good work, but I was most affected by the free project. You only get 3GB of data, 100 minutes of sound, and 300 texts, but as a backup service in your central career, it works well.

Last but certainly at least, we have a Verizon value brand. This is one of my personal favorites: You get really unlimited data for Rock-Netflies, on the Verzone network. There are also many features that feel the experience as a postpaid varyzone.
Let’s take a deep look at what the visual offer is:
- With an extra $ 6 holiday in each month for the first year, there is three plans to choose from 25 to 45 per month.
- All projects include unlimited data that have no hats, but the visible plus and the visible plus pro offer high preferred data that you will meet with the entry level postpaid Verizon service, though this is still a bit below the medium range or more varyzone plans.
- All projects include unlimited conversations and texts in Mexico and Canada, which includes international roaming options with selected projects that many high -end postpaid projects fight and promote them only through international roaming king, Google FI.
- Selected projects include Smart Watch Service such as additional and streaming up to 4K UHD.
Just to make it clear about how far I recommend: I am slowly pushing my family’s Verizon postpaid lines after a short switch on the post -paper a few years ago (I wanted a new phone but didn’t want to pay the front).
Which carrier should you choose?
As you have probably guessed, the best cheap carrier is not fit for a size. That said, some recommendations based on your needs are:
- Use a lot of data and want the cheapest price? The visible is no mental: unlimited limits from $ 25 – $ 45 (or less for the first year), and consumers have reported to use 300GB or more without any hassle.
- Networks need to change The Flexibility? The American mobile is the only carrier that offers it, while still keeping projects less than $ 8. Even in a month, more and more price options are more and more on $ 44 (or less for Dark Star users).
- Want to access any Freele and do not require more data? Tello or we mobiles are my choice for people who only need 5GB or less. Both plans for the basics are less than $ 15 or less than $ 5.
- Need cheap unlimited data and have no objection to annual payment? Mint Mobile currently has a promo for unlimited service at just $ 15 a year.
- Looking for a child’s plan or for someone who doesn’t use his smartphone much? Telo is my routine for children, but helium is a good alternative, with children’s plans $ 5 and even a free project-though this is very limited to the text and the text.
These are just a few use issues, but the biggest way is that each career has its profession and in conflict. Although these are the five that I personally suggest, it is important to do my homework to find out that will really improve your unique needs.
