It seems that Samsung is abandoning its own Galaxy S26 lineup projects operated by Ecinos 2600 chip sets. Galaxy S26 Edge has just been seen on the Gack Bench, which has been strengthened by Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, and some beautifully impressive numbers are offered.

The listing depicts the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, along with single -core performances as well as a multi -core operation.

    • Single Core Performance Scores: 3,393
    • Multi -Core Performance Scores: 11,515

For context, the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip that was used in the Galaxy S25 series scored:

    • Single Core Performance Scores: 2,869
    • Multi -Core Performance Scores: 9,495

These results were recorded on the Galaxy S25 ultra, as the lower ends hit a very minor hit.

For more comparisons, how is the iPhone 16 Pro and its A18 Pro Chip set compared to:

    • Single Core Performance Scores: 3,449
    • Multi -Core Performance Scores: 8,573

Clearly, the Multi -Core performance on Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is league from Apple’s last flagship phone. And, if Apple’s new release schedule is correct, then Base iPhone 18 may not have the opportunity to use a better chip while facing it. Galaxy S26 Next year.

Now, if you maintain efforts to complete Samsung’s Xinos, you will probably know that the company is really hoping that it will use its chip for it. S26. It is believed that the Ecinos 2600 is a 2NM processor manufactured by the Samsung Foundry, but the ongoing production issues are preventing the company’s vision from seeing daylight.

The same troubles stopped 3 NM Acinos 2500 – now found in the Galaxy Z Philip 7 – as well as debuting Galaxy S. 25. Samsung, it seems clear, before it can return to its Xinos chips before it has some ways before it can be returned.

However, it is also likely Galaxy S26 The phone will return to specific chip sets related to the region. Thus, we can see an Xinos -driven Galaxy flagship next year anyway next year S26 The edge found in the above list can only be included in some markets.

However, I will not take my breath, as recent reports still remain that Samsung is experiencing difficulty in the process of 2 NM chip manufacturing.
