Apple August 7 released the second public son of IOS 26. This update brought a handful of new features, such as a new liquid glass design and the ability to change the length of your alarm snacks, on developers and beta -testers’ iPhones. It also provided the developers and beta -testers an easy way to prevent spam callers from disturbing a new feature of call screening.
Call screening is not a feature of Apple Intelligence, so any iOS 26 compatible iPhone, such as the iPhone 14 Pro, will get this feature when Apple releases iPhone updates this fall. But you must first enable this feature. I activated this feature early in the son’s process, and my iPhone, like the Hoover Dam, has consistently held the calls.
Just remember, Apple is still examining son 26. If you want to test the beta, I recommend downloading it on the secondary device.

How to turn the call screening on your iPhone
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Apps Near the bottom of the menu.
3. Tap Televocate.
Under the section screen unknown, you will see three options: never, ask for the reason for calling and silence. Here you should know about each of them and what is right for most people.
Which call screening option should you choose?
Choosing never calls unsafe numbers and play on your phone. It also allows your phone app to document Miss calls in your rental list, just as call screening was available. This is the default option of your phone app.
If you ask for a call, your iPhone will ask anyone who calls you from an unsafe number, he calls for his call without playing your phone. After answering some of the caller’s questions, your iPhone will inform you with a copy of the caller’s answers. Then you can decide whether you want to answer the call or not.
You can also choose silence, which is a nuclear option for phone calls. Any unsafe number that makes you call will be silenced and will be sent to the voicemail, no question has been asked.
Ask the reason for calling for most people who want to screen calls. I chose it, and when he informed me when the scam callers answered some questions, which they rarely did, he also informed me when my doctor’s office called for some test results. If I had chosen silence, I would lose my doctor’s office, and never to choose would mean that if I was expecting something important, check every call.
If you choose to ask why calling and disliked it, you can always re -follow the above stages and choose one of the other options. And remember, you can always silence your iPhone and not bother with any phone calls. My wife did not silence her phone in months and she has been left out of spam calls.
