Although it has been inactive since most of the year, the website National Public Data has come up with new owners.

As reported by the PCMAG, the website was known for violating a major data last year, which leaked millions of social protection online, resulting in legal action against former site owners, Geraco Pictures.

The violation exposed at least 272 million social security numbers and 600 million phone numbers, and after the litigation was filed, the site recently disappeared when it resurrected as a people’s Finder Site.

Although there is close information about the new domain owners, in addition to which it has been registered in the Florida -based VPN service called “Perfect Privacy”, it is working as a free search engine to allow people to find information about others.

The new national public data allows users to find someone’s personal information, including addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, relatives, location, age, workplace and criminal records.

Although the new site claims that there is no affiliation with the previous owners, they are not going too much about where they are collecting their data, besides “federal, state and local government agencies, social media pages, property owned by property and other trusted databases.

Now, just because they are receiving data from legitimate sources and confirming it does not mean that you want it to be with it or make it easily accessible and easy to find online. If you want the national public data to remove your data from its site, you have this option because there is an opt -out form you can use to delete your profile data.

Get quick access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, big deals and helpful points.

When PC Meg tried it, he reported that it looks as if his data was immediately removed from the site. However, it appears that many users will likely be unaware of this option, which makes it easier to continue posting such sites online.

Additionally. Certainly have data removal services such as Inkigini that can help you delete your online data, as well as identifying monitoring services where you appear online.
