One minute review
If you are looking for a nonsense game pad to use with your phone, then the Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller is a solid choice. It is light on features compared to some of the best mobile controllers, but it offers good performance where it counts.
It is only available with USB type-C connectors, but is fully compatible with both iOS and Android out of the box. This iPhone can also fit a wide range of devices from 15 or the smallest Android phones to major options like the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Even it fits comfortably on an iPad mini or a small Android gaming tablet like Lenovo Lashkar Tab General 3.
This is a huge advantage in view of its compact size, as tablet compatibility is usually specific to large models such as Roger Cash Ultra.
Its thumbsticks are small side, but they are completely smooth and responsible. Facial buttons are a bit dubious, especially when a second general compared to the mechanical found on the competitive spinal cord, but thankfully, my test never affects the game’s performance.
Aesthetically, Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller is on the basic aspect but is higher than small decisions and red highlights. Its plastic and rubber construction is also nothing special, but it keeps the weight down and feels strongly strong for the price.
Although it lacks a headphones jack, which is a shame, adding passage charging is a win. When you use synchronous plugs, it supports 18W fast charging, which puts your device up while playing your air.

Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller: Design and Features
- Folding design
- Compact and light
- A lot of devices fits
The Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the successful backbone, with the overall form factor and design. These are the two parts of a small controller that hold your phone that is separated by a expansion mechanism.
Unlike the spinal cord, however, the Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller can connect at two points, which facilitates storage and transportation. This folding mechanism also has the advantage of increasing device compatibility, as it allows you to easily fit around large phones or small tablets.
There are all the expected buttons, with a soft, round de -pad and traditional facial buttons. The face buttons are on the side of the spongy, which is a shame, but in no way a Dell breaker. On the contrary, the buttons of start, select, home, and arrest (this is the little red color on the right), on the contrary, are very super -and responsible and feel better at pressing.
Only the second notable element on the front is a small indicator LED, which is bright when connected to your phone. Under the right hand grip, you will also find a type C connector used for passing throw charging. The controller supports 18W fast charging, making it much easier to keep your phone filled with juice as you play.
Only at 0.4lbs / 195.6g, it feels very mild, but the important thing is that it is not made cheap or poor. The plastic and rubber here are not as premium as it is found on the spinal cord, but it seems appropriate in view of the price difference.

Eser Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller: Performance
- No software is required
- Small but comfortable
- Easy to transport
Acer Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller does not need any software. Just plug in your phone or tablet and you are ready to go. On the one hand, I appreciate its simplicity. Sometimes, you really just want something that will work out of the box without any stir.
On the other hand, I miss many customized options offered by rivals. If you want the ability to recover the buttons or to adapt to the dead zone of the thumb sticks, for example, this is not a decisive controller for you.
On this side, the performance is good. The controller is small, but still appropriate in the hands. Its analog triggers respond well in fast sports Zen Les Zone Zero Or Call of duty mobile, And even under very fast inputs, suspicious facial buttons never fall. Alternatives such as Asus Rog Teson perform significantly better thanks to their more super -buttons, but it costs higher prices.
Thumb sticks, while small, have a decent range that is found on the original Joey Kin Controllers and therefore a decent fit for most sports. It doesn’t look like they are using the hall effect sensor, though, which is unfortunate and it seems like a lost opportunity to win easily.
When the controller is not in use, its folding design and light weight make it easier to transport. I’ve been taking it in my bag for weeks and honestly I have sometimes forgotten that it is there. It can also be comfortable in the large pockets of my coat, though your mileage may vary in this regard.
