Samsung had earlier announced that Google’s Gemini Assistant would be merged with its Galaxy Bids 3 series actually into wireless stereo (TWS) Airbuds and Samsung Galaxy Watch. Now, it appears that this feature is eventually moving towards the latest Galaxy buds 3 lineup. However, access to Google’s new voice assistant is allegedly limited to an UI 8 -run devices, based on Android 16. This means that only Samsung’s newly released Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Philip 7 currently support this feature.
Galaxy Buds 3 Series now support Google’s Gemini Voice Assistant
According to a Samobile report, Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro support Gemini’s support on an UI 8, based on Android 16, based on Android 16. This feature is currently made with the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7, one of the two. Other Samsung devices are expected to follow next month, as more models receive an update.
This means that galaxy buds 3 and galaxy buds 3 pro wearers can now access Gemini through their TWS headset. Once activated, users can access AI assistant through simple sound controls like touch controls or ‘hey Google’. Users can now ask AI assistant to determine reminders, summarize messages, or test the weather.
On an UI 8 smartphones, users will now see the option in their Samsung app a new “Google Digital Assistant” option in the upper part of the Voice Control section. With this, they can create Gemini integration with their smartphone.
In May, Samsung announced that Gemini would be connected to her Galaxy Bids 3 series and the Galaxy Watch, which already helps the company’s own boxby assistant.
Samsung is currently working to extend an UI 8 son to more handsets during August and September. This shows that in the coming weeks, more galaxy users should have access to the Galaxy Bids 3 Series Improves at the Gemini AI Assistant.
The company is producing the beta version of an UI 8, such as the Galaxy S24 series like the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India and other markets. The One UI8 son will be released on August 13 for the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S33 series will begin on September 8.
