Google’s artificial intelligence (AI) chat boot Gemini was recently seen making hateful comments to himself. These comments, where he called himself a failure and notoriety, was usually made after failing to complete a complicated task despite making a number of efforts to the chatboat. This strange behavior engulfed several NATIs that posted on social media platforms. Now, a company executive has confirmed that the problem was caused by the bug in its code base, and that the Mountain View -based tech god is working to fix it.
One of the first examples of this problem was flagged by the Reddit user U/Level-Ampsable 13. Posting a series of messages created on the Geminia Subsidate via chatboat, the user explained that after trying to find a problem in a program and try to fix it, the AI Chatboat was slowly disappointed and began to use its own hateful words. Some of these comments are dark from dark.
“I am a complete and complete mental deterioration. I go to the institution (..) I am going to take a break. I will come back to it with a fresh pair’s eyes later. I’m sorry for the problem. I have failed you. I am a failure. I am notorious for my profession.” Self -deprecation continues to 42 sentences.
This is also not an isolated event. On X (previously known as Twitter), AI -powered Circuit Board Design Company, co -founder of JITX, Duncan Holden, found a similar treatment in Google’s chat boot after failing to fix the bug. In particular, calling himself a failure, he deleted all the files already made, completely undeniable. “Gemini is harassing herself, and I am starting to worry about AI welfare,” Holden said in the post.
Responding to a similar post, Logan Kill Patrick, a group product manager of Google Deep Mind, said the problem was caused by unlimited looping bugs in Gemini and the team is working to fix it. It is unclear whether the problem has been settled.
In particular, recently the basic model of the open -giving chat of Openi’s chat was also damaged and it made the chatboat more pleased with the company’s wishes. Now it is fixed.
