- Apple has said that Samsung’s American factory will make chips for its multiple products, including iPhones.
- It is unclear whether Apple is referring to a series chips that are the hearts of the iPhones.

- Apple says Samsung will provide chips that will “improve the strength and performance of Apple’s products.”
Apple has announced that no one other than Samsung will soon make chips for its products, including iPhones.
Before you start to think that sooner will have the power of iPhones through Economy processors, let’s look at what Apple is saying exactly and the history of the iPhone is concerned between the two companies. In the next four years, as part of the announcement of the extra billion 100 billion investment in the United States, Apple said it would buy chips from Samsung’s Austin Factory for multiple products, including its phone.
“This will provide convenience chips that will improve the strength and performance of Apple products, including iPhone devices,” Apple said in a statement.
Although it is not clear how these Samsung chips will play a major role in forming a series of Apple series processors, it is certainly interesting that two tech companies involved for the important components of the iPhone.
Although Samsung has no role in manufacturing any part of the iPhone’s A-Series processors at present-this is a work for TSMC-the Korean company has long been supplier of display, RAM and memory chips for iPhones.
Samsung also developed Apple’s series chips for the iPhone historically, especially from the A4 chip used on the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 6s used in the A9 chip. However, after the A9 chip, Apple moved its chip production to the TSMC.
This would be a big deal if Samsung once again started making series chips from the United States for Apple, but it is unlikely to happen. Apple is already expected to use TSMC’s 3NM process for its A19 and A19 Pro chips, which will strengthen the iPhone 17 lineup.
