Bharat Sancher Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released a series of strategic announcements in recent months. Their aim is to live their existence in the telecom sector of India, which has recently been dominated by private players such as Indian Airlines, Reliance Geo, and Vodafone Idea (VI). Over the past few years, the government -owned telecom operator is considered to be a Legard due to its non -existent 4G and 5G infrastructure. However, it has preferred the stack of indigenous technology to introduce a number of consumer -based offerings, among the base of the falling consumers. Some of the most remarkable measures recently announced include the supply of 1 Freedom Offer, Q-5G service, and the doorstep of SIM cards. They not only indicate the BSNL’s attempt to attract new consumers, but also challenge private players in the Indian telecommunication place.

Take a close look at five of the recent BSNL announcements.

5G Assistant Non -Public Network Deployment

On August 3, the BSNL signed an agreement with Namli Garh Refinery Limited for the deployment of the first 5G Capt. In this strategic partnership, the state telecom provider will use indigenous infrastructure to develop a safe and reliable private 5G network.

This network will be used in the public sector firm premises and is said to be key to important industrial operations.

    Answer 1 Offer for Freedom

BSNL on August 1 announced a limited -time prepaid recharge plan called Freedom. Its cost only again. 1 and 30 days come with the authenticity. During this period, BSNL users can enjoy 2GB4G data, unlimited sound calls, and 100 SMS daily. According to the Telecom Operator, under the Fair Use Policy (FUP), the daily quota will be reduced to 40kbps, after the daily quota expires.

However, the project only applicable to new BSNL users and runs from August 1 to August 31. BSNL is also offering free SIM cards to people who subscribe to the freedom offer.

Rollout of 5G services in Delhi, more important city

Referring to official sources, a June 27 report states that BSNL is ready to launch its 5G services in Delhi and select other cities in India by the end of September. It is said that the 5G technology test phase has been completed on the recently established 4G sites in most state capitals.

5G sites were allegedly activated in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Patna as part of the first phase of the deployment of 1 lakh 4G towers in India.

    SIM CARD DELIVERY

On June 25, BSNL introduced the supply of its SIM card. It has a new portal that users can provide SIM cards in their homes without leaving the premises. New users can choose between prepaid and postpaid SIM connection and complete the Self-KYC verification to finalize the process. They can also portray their current number from other service providers in the BSNL.

According to the telecom operator, users can contact the helpline number 1800-180-1503 for any doubts.

Q-5G Service for Enterprises, SIM Less Quantum 5GFWA

BSNL announced its 5G service in India on June 19. It is short, Q-5G for quantum 5G. However, after being publicly available, users are not maximized about what network speeds can expect users. Meanwhile, the telecom operator also had a soft launch of his Q-5G fixed wireless access (FWA) service in selected circles. This is primarily an Internet lease line built on 5GFWA and aims for business and enterprise users rather than ordinary users.

In particular, the service uses a indigenous technology stack and does not require SIM cards or wires. In India, BSNL’s 5GFWA projects start at Rs 500. Each month, 999, 100 Mbps offer network speed.
