Apple issued the first public son of IOS 26 on July 24. The beta has brought a handful of new features, such as a new liquid glass design and the ability to change your alarm snacks, on developers and beta testers’ iPhones. He also gave developers and beta -testers the ability to screen unidentified calls, thus spam callers do not bother you much.
Call Screening is not the Apple Intelligence feature, so nobody iOS 26 compatible iPhone, such as IPhone 14 ProWhen Apple updates the iPhone this fall, this feature will be achieved. But you have to enable this feature in the settings.

Don’t forget, Apple is still testing the son 26. This means that the update can be small for you, and your device’s battery life can be affected, so it is better to keep these problems away from your basic device. If you want to test the beta, I recommend downloading it on the secondary device.

How to change the call screening
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Apps Near the bottom of the menu.
3. Tap Televocate.
Under the section screen unknown, you will see three options: never, ask for the reason for calling and silence. Here you should know about each of them and what is right for most people.
Which call screening option should you choose?
Selection never allows calls to come to your phone with unsafe numbers. It also allows your phone app to document Miss calls in your rental list, just as call screening was available. This is the default option of your phone app.
If you ask the reason for the call, your iPhone will ask anyone who calls an unsafe number to call your phone without their call. After answering some of the caller’s questions, your iPhone will inform you with a copy of the caller’s answers. Then you can decide whether you want to answer the call or not.
You can also choose silence, which is a nuclear option for phone calls. Any unsaturated number that makes you call will be silenced and will go to the voicemail, no question has been asked.
Ask the reason for calling for most people who want to screen their calls. I chose it, and when he informed me when the scam callers answered some questions – what they rarely did – he also informed me when my doctor’s office called for some test results. If I had chosen silence, I would lose my doctor’s office, and choosing the “never” option would mean that if I was expecting something important, I would have to check every call.
If you ask for a call and don’t like it, you can always re -follow the aforementioned steps and choose one of the other options. And don’t forget, you can always silence your iPhone and not bother with any phone calls – my wife has not silenced her phone in months and she is relieved of spam calls.
