Although most of the hardware is the top number here, my only grip is with the used storage type. Asos offered a PCI 5.0 M2SSD, which supports the laptop, but instead now comes with the old 4.0 SSD. In the benchmark, the laptop performed well. I conducted a test in Turbo mode, which provides a total watt of 230W. However, there is also a manual format that opens more performance, which offers a total of 255W watts. The GPU has been ranked 175W TGP, and CPU can reach 80W TDP. I participated in the last part 1 on the laptop to test Cyberpank 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, and its performance. Since the laptop uses the new RTX 50 series GPU, you also get the DLSS 4.0 AI frame generation.

In Cyberpank 2077, without DLSS 4.0 Active, Structure quality high, and without resolution on 2K, this game provided about 45-50fps. With DLSS being enabled, I got about 75 75-80fps. Meanwhile, the Hogwarts Legacy opened about 120 FPS, in which the DLSS turned on the ultra -settings. With the DLSS disabled, the game provided a frame rate of 80-90fps. With all the settings in Max run our last part 1, I got about 85-100fps. For AAA gaming, 4K video editing, and all kinds of creative tasks, the Rog Straix Scar 16 will not disappoint you. It also shows that Asos has really improved the cooling system on a new laptop.
In case of wireless contact, the laptop offers fast triple band Wi -Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Wireless performance was excellent, and I did not face any random disconnection.

The laptop packs 90 WHR battery, which has the same capacity as the predecessor, but I don’t think anyone thinks about battery life when buying such a powerful gaming laptop. During the gaming session, with setting the profile on the turbo, I got about 1-2 hours of battery life, which was set up to about 50 % with brightness. In normal use, I got about 4 hours battery life with IGPU enabled.

The charging is handled by a large 380W brick of the adapter, but you can also charge a laptop using a USB type-C port, which supports up to 100W PD. Using the 380W adapter provided, I managed to charge the laptop from 20 to 60 percent in about 30 minutes, which took about 1 hour and 20 minutes in a full charge.

If you have the money, I will recommend buying the Ascertain Strexcar 16 for its excellent performance and cooling, shiny gamer design, and bright mini LED display. The laptop also has a good keyboard and a big touchpad. The tool is also very useful and some other laptop manufacturers should adopt. Minor, only negative aspects, PCI General 4 is the use of 4 storage, especially when the laptop general supports 5 SSD.
The ROG Strexcar 16 can easily replace your gaming desktop and add some portability to the mix. Of course, a gaming desktop offers better upgrade, but does it have a view of mobile phones? The laptop is definitely worth the price tag.
